The atmosphere is rustic and shows the buildings age. The preparation area is clean. The service is delightful and quick. We enjoyed our breakfast quiche and chocolate chip scone. The seating in one area is cozy in the lounge chairs.

Wife had a meeting near by and we decided to have a coffee before it started. Quick search and found this little gem. Great service and excellent atmosphere. We both had the mocha and it hit the spot, especially on that come morning. If you're in town, so by and enjoy a coffee, the service, and the atmosphere.

Morningside is a FANTASTIC place to hole up and study at. Being a student at the local college, it's nice to find places off-campus to study and hang out at. I am not a coffee drinker, so I can't speak on the coffee, but the quiches are AMAZING! The scones are also good and reasonably priced. Everything is made in shop, so it gives the feelings of homecooked breakfast. The environment is great, the Wi-Fi is great as well, and there are comfy spots to curl up and study in. 5/5 would totally recommend to anyone, but especially to Lyon students in the area.

Morningside Coffee House is AMAZING! Great atmosphere and warm welcome. The Chai Tea is awesome too. Wish I could visit here daily but not from the area, we were here for a wedding and looked up coffee house on Google. We need this place in Kansas City with me!

I dont go in much, more of a drive through person here but its ALWAYS delicious. Prices are competitive, loyalty rewards are competitive, customer service is always friendly if sometimes a little slow (no big deal!), and seldom are my orders wrong. I really have nothing to complain about at this place and it is my number one local go to for coffee and treats. Very happy to have them and hope they stay atound for a long time.
