First the good. Rooms were very clean and property was clean. Hot water was instant and very hot. The location is close to what we like just a short walk to the downtown and farmers market. Now for the bad. First off, I accidentally made a reservation at 1145pm for that night when I was trying to make it for 2 days away. The receptionist informed me they weren't even able to take me if I showed up. Owner refused to help me out when it would have been a simple matter of just moving the reservation. Instead they offered a "half off" discount which was almost what my original reservation was for. So basically I payed double. I couldn't even cancel reservation because their policy states 2 days before which I somehow made it for that night when I'm 4 hrs away. Next, beds are super uncomfortable. They provided 2 thin pillows per bed with 1 decorative pillow. And checking in was wierd, they didn't take my card info or my license. I basically walked up, said my name and they gave me keys. I could've looked at the pile of reservations on the desk and said it was mine because the reception was in the back. Also, very cold night and the heater was disabled, I should've let the shower run all night because we froze. My kids both got sick. Very bad experience. All in all definitely not worth what I paid and not even worth the original amount. This is basically just a place to sleep. I would not recommend this place, maybe to someone I didn't like

Positive: It's a great location. Easy access to morning coffee or dinner at night. Tourist attractions are within easy range. Negative: The single complaint I have about this location was the hard bed. Which unfortunately seems to be common in most motels.

Nothing fancy, but newly renovated, and very clean. Desk was very friendly, and though we weren’t in room but to sleep the room had all we needed. Located close to shops and central to our final destination so was perfect - and price was right for time actually spent there.

Bed was worn out the walls are very thin guest was talking and it sounded like they were in are room very loud location parking is horrible I will not stay there again.

Stay the night at this nice little place at first we did not think the rooms was going to be very good and had doubts but once we were in the rooms were very nice very clean very well put together they had been updated in the little lady at the front desk was so sweet and nice she had everything ready for us by the time we got there no problems no hassles we will definitely stay here again when we go back to Morro Bay
