Wow, what can I say about this place....
If you are looking for frames this is your place! Soooo many variety of frames, it's like going to a candy store - what does one pick? Owner Gio was there 100% to guide you with your choices and will give you honest feedback of what works. Gio was so helpful, extremely encouraging, kind , professional, easy to talk to, fun, upbeat and makes you happy & highly accommodating! I do appreciate his desire to get me out of my comfort zone, which was the BEST part! Ended up with 4 pairs which I just LOVE because all were so different! When I wear them, each one makes me happy and feeling good!
THANK YOU GIO & I will be back because you are the best at what you do. Think I have a new friend... 🙂 Honestly, my first GREAT EXPERIENCE at a optical place.

I highly recommend this place when shopping for eyeglasses. The owner, Gio, really took his time to help me try on different styles of frames. He has unique, fun, and elegant frames and has a beautiful gift of matching your face, skin tone, and hair with different styles of frames. It was so fun trying on different pairs and I came out with 3 styles that I am excited to wear. Prices are very reasonable, which is a plus for me! Go support this local business.

What a wonderful experience all the way through. We just popped in without an appointment and Gio spent so much time styling both my husband and myself. I ended up choosing sunglasses and glasses that were slightly out of my comfort zone- when I picked them up, I was thrilled. It only took a few days to get my single lenses done, and the price was reasonable for custom hand-made frames. We are very happy customers and going to be back!

Two weeks ago I went by the store to check out the collection of frames and they were closed but the sign on the door said appointments available by text, so I texted and the owner set up an appointment for me 24 hours later. I arrived the next day and was given about an hour of personal attention and went through an enormous selection of beautiful frames. I valued the styling session. I picked out two frames, one smart looking pair for progressives and a fashionable pair for single vision sunglasses. I was so happy about the whole experience and the price was fair with the sunglasses being on sale. I just picked them both up today and they are perfect, fit perfectly and I can see clearer than ever! I really appreciate having a local frame store with handmade frames here in Alameda!! I will recommend Gio’s My Way Eyeglass Shop to everybody who needs a new pair.

I had the best time in this store. I walked in randomly and the salesmen took like a whole hour to help me find the right style and look for me given my skin tone, hair, and face shape. There was a great variety of stylish frames and the price totally reasonable. This is going to be my go to place moving forward!

I finally found an eyewear store with a great selection of different styles ranging from studious to edgy that you can’t find at your typical optometrist office. My family and I have purchased a total of 4 pairs of glasses (so far). I’ve come in to have my glasses adjusted few times and Gio is always friendly and helpful. He was also helpful in finding just the right frame style and size.

Gio has unparalleled customer service. He did an amazing job of helping me find frames I love and had very helpful tips to narrow down which frames to get. The frame design is obviously super high quality and they are designed by Gio himself!! I will never order glasses online again. You will not regret your trip to this store!
