I liked this Indian grocery store. They offer a diverse selection of Indian vegetables and groceries. It was pleasing to find various types of fish, especially as a Bengali, I was delighted to see Hilsa, Rohu, and Katla fish. Additionally, the store provides various Indian cooked foods and appetizers.

It’s like a one stop shop for meat/veggies/groceries and Indian food. Their food counter seemed to attract a lot of crowd but the rest of the shop was pretty quite. In comparison to other Indian stores, it’s smaller yet they have a decent collection of Indian grocery. Store has a good mix of top spice and rice brands. The veggies section is smaller again with a good selection. Veggies didn’t seem too fresh but I would make my choice if I had to buy. Frozen section was big and so was their pooja/aarti collection. I noticed they had a good stock on various types and brands of rice. The staffs were helpful to customer in the store and were open to suggestions. I like the idea that they have restaurant/ meat section and groceries all under one roof. I have not had a chance to taste their food or purchase meat, but will update my review once I do. But for now I can say that although it’s a smaller shop it will be worth giving these guys a shot. If I had to say one thing that I wasn’t impressed was how the products were displayed, some were just shoved in the shelf and It wasn’t even like a busy day that products have been displaced.

They sell Indian groceries, all types of lentils, several varieties of rice ( basmati, idli & dosa rice ), Indian vegetables, yogurt & all types of Indian snacks, chakori coffee sweets etc. Their frozen section is very big ( for roti, Nan, parathas, kachori & many more items ) They sell readymade food as well. Wait time is short.
The only problem is, the store is a little small compared to other Indian stores in the area.

To be quite honest, their biryani (available in regular or family size) is what motivates me to come here again and again. They give a decent amount of goat meat for their advertised price and the flavor is richer (and spicier) than other places such as Biryani King and Paradise Biryani Pointe. A regular size feeds me and my partner and there is enough leftover for his lunch the next day (assuming it is served with side items like vegetables). However, they never give enough of the yogurt sauce/dip! I usually end up getting another one.

In regards to grocery, I only buy it if it is cheap. Their produce is limited and can be slightly more expensive than other bigger grocery stores. They have a decent selection of frozen naan, paratha, and roti compared to other indian grocery stores.

!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!! !!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!! !!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!! Never buy any Food from the restaurant section if you are a vegetarian. They mix meat pieces in your Veg/Paneer biryani. Must be doing the same for other veg products too.

This place has an amazing spice collection! They have everything you’ve ever wanted in a spice. Cashier was very friendly and helped us find what we are looking for. Affordable. Store was very clean. I came right before closing so the store was pretty empty. I’d like to come back again and Check out the hot food that they serve. They also have dividers at checkout for covid reasons.

Just bought this item today(Cadbury dairy milk whole nut). Checked the expiry date after reaching home, and found that this chocolate was expired couple of weeks back, and they still have it in shelves selling the expired goods. These are some of those products that are majorly consumed by kids, and I was about to offer this to my pregnant wife, so please make sure you check the expiry date before buying anything from this store.
I also bought few other items in this store today, and I may now have to check every single pack before we use it. And since we live 45 miles away from Mira Mesa, it is not feasible for us to go back to the store and inform them about this. But, want to make sure at least the customers are aware of this.
