Delightfully curated gift shop. They have lots of little things to browse for yourself or a loved one, including a huge collection of fun hair clips in all shapes and colors, and lots of beautiful earrings from local makers. They also have a decent selection of zines and some books, and candles, soap, socks, etc. I highly recommend checking it out - you're sure to find something you like!

I was visiting from LA where this type of shop is ubiquitous, but no matter, I fell in love instantly & added it to my favorites. It didn’t hurt that the employee (owner?) behind the counter was so friendly & engaging. I will definitely visit again the next time I’m in SF because this adorable boutique is so well curated. Plants! Jewelry! Zines! Books! Skincare! Home goods! Hair accessories! Socks! More! PHEW 😅

However, if you are looking for cute and stylish hair and clothing accessories, jewelry, and/or plants, this place has them in spades.

I could have spent hours in here! Such a great assortment of things! From quirky zines to hand crafted home goods. I left with only a few bars of artisanal chocolate and a satisfyingly large lip balm stick but would’ve had no trouble at all finding gifts for everyone in my life at Needles and Pens. Props to their buyer for curating a really fun shop!
