Ever since my Mom passed away I find joy in consignment shopping. My Mom and I loved to shop! Walking into Nice Consignment store in Monterey was more than I could ever dream of.
It changed my life. Cathie is kind and helpful.
Cathie has skills beyond any shop I’ve been in and I traveled the world so that’s saying something. I have style beyond my wildest dreams. My whole family drives and flies here to visit Nice consignment. We all have changed our way of dressing in the morning! We have stylish clothing to wear. People always stop me and ask where did you by those gorgeous outfits 🥰 Nice Consignment shop ROCKS 👏

Very shady business practices. The owner took a box of my designer clothes and I received zero money. Was told that checks would be sent to me upon items being sold but now the story changes saying I had to have requested it. Which is not clearly stated in the contract. Do not consign here, you’re better off throwing your designer clothes off at Goodwill so you can at least get a tax write off.

Wow thanks for the useless response. Still doesn’t change that I was told in person by the owner that checks would be mailed upon sales. No mention of “upon request” besides it being buried in bad English and fine print on the contract.

Also was told since I have mostly spring and summer pieces that they would sell later (after the 90 day window). Why wouldn’t she have just told me to come back when it’s in season? Never even mentioned deadlines when I gave her my clothes, expects me to know all the fine print and workings of her business. Ridiculous. Would’ve been nice to be told to come back later or be sent a check as promised rather than keeping all my designer pieces and profiting off of others hard earned money. Do NOT consign here!

I changed jobs last year after having a baby from working in retail to working in education administration. The owner and staff member have been great in helping me find my style post-baby and in a new career field. The two women working there have been so helpful and kind with these two big life transitions and I really appreciate them taking their time and showing me grace (and helping my own self love in new sizes!).

Nice is almost a secret place with great deals on high-end dresses, jewlery and other clothing. It may seen expensive, but compare the prices of the items found here to market, and you'll realize what a deal you're getting.

Nice is great. Crystal knows brands, what sells and how to price. As a shopper, I almost always find something that I 'have' to have including some great Tiffany pieces. Sat I went in wanting black pants and a basic white blouse and found them. Other times I've found unique pieces that I love. The items Crystal accepts from me sell and sell at good prices.

Walking into 'Nice' on Munras I was greeted promptly by Krystal.
She seems so genuinely kind, happy to help. I was looking for a
purse, the right purse that would serve my needs. I spotted one right away, but we continued to look at the whole inventory. She knows the products,
brands, materials, the whole nine yards! I ended up with a Michael Kors, on sale, of course. Just the right color, size, shape and imported leather. The experience was quite outstanding due to Krystal's uplifting attitude and professionalism. 'Nice' has wonderful products, you should treat yourself to a visit!!

She judged me from a phone call! Because I couldn't give her all the name brands I own. Said her store wouldn't be the right fit for me as it was a high end store. I asked her what name brands she was looking for and obviously I would only bring her thise. She couldn't give me names either. Good luck! It's still second hand lady!
