When traveling to Carmel, this market is such a great place to see. It is hard to find the high end selection of items that you will find at NIelsen's. And the store is just adorable. A great little shop with fresh flowers, fresh produce, fresh meats and more. Even better, It's right in the heart of Carmel, making it a perfect place to go while touring the town. I've been a frequent visitor of Carmel for years and this market is exactly the Carmel that I know and love. The market has an amazing list of wines and specialty items that are hard to find and I love that they carry local wines from neighboring vineyards. Plus, the service at Nielsen's, following the recent change in ownership, is great. Thank you to the new owners for turning this market back into a gem!

I recently visited Nielsen Brothers market and I was so surprised. What a difference from the last time I was there. The store has been greatly upgraded. The new owners have improved every section of the store. The produce is organic. The wines are top shelf and a great selection. I highly recommend visiting this little gem in Carmel.

Nielsen Brothers Market is such a cute market in Carmel with a great mix of offerings. I love stopping by when I am in town for picnic items and specialty items like kombucha and matcha. I found some really interesting healthy snacks which I am always on the look out for. It's a great spot for picking up gifts for friends too. Next time I visit I plan on spending some time in the wine section because friends have told me it's really great! So awesome that Carmel has this kind of small town market available for visitors (me) and my family who live locally. A real find!

Under new ownership since early 2024 and the changes are super! Incredible liquor aisle with more bitters than I’ve ever seen in one place. Very cool wine selections. And the market, wow! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s in town and not your average grocery store. Pies from the Farmer’s Market, fun cheeses, salami - the makings of an epic picnic. Plus, they carry all the necessities for daily living. And there’s a deli. The new owners are really nice too. Carmel is lucky to have this gem of a market. A+ experience

Perfect go to spot during our stay! Excellent prepared salads and a wonderful small selection of quality items to snack on. We will be regulars anytime we visit
