Out of all the experiences I’ve had in retail - tonight’s experience was by far my favorite. Jordan in the fragrance department delivered a cut above the department stores I’ve been in from New York to London, France to Beverly Hills. That is because his irreplaceable ability to make a guest come back to him with his sparkling personality, sophisticated taste far beyond his 26 years while still being young, fresh and undeniably cool. He is the reason I will move on from patronizing stores like Sephora and exclusively go to him for my fragrance needs in the future. Nordstroms is beyond lucky to have him.

I really like this store. However, there are sections of the store that feel so abandoned. Ladies petites, feels like this merchandise hasn’t been upgraded since 1985. It’s very disappointing to not be able to find anything that fits my height and doesn’t look like it’s for 80 year old ladies. There are many petites among us. Not everyone is a runway model height. I hope you consider featuring more petites brands

I met the most fashionable and sweet gentleman by the name of Tomas (do correct me if I am wrong). He was dressed as what I could describe as a cross between Alexander McQueen and Karl Lagerfeld, which I mean in the highest regards! He was friendly and enthusiastic about his career. Unfortunately although he offered to do my hair, due to my being in a hurry, I could not get my hair done by Tomas 🙁

Regardless, he brought the luxurious and unique atmosphere to Nordstrom that distinguishes it apart from other department stores

I went to look at the men’s cologne, and the one I was interested in did not have a price tag. I asked the sales clerk for the price. She rang it up, told me it was $150, then walked away to put in back on the shelf without asking me if I wanted it. She assumed I could not afford it. I told her I wanted to buy it, but I’d like to keep it and walk around some more. She said she had to keep it at the register. I’ve worked in retail before for many years. I know the only products that need to be held at the register are those with locks on them or locked in a cabinet requiring an employee to unlock it . None of the cologne bottles were locked. They were on the shelves, and anyone could take them. So that’s what I did. I went and grabbed another bottle of the cologne and walked around the store with it. After about 30mins, she came up to me and said she needed the cologne in my hands so she can get the credit for selling it. It just so happened that I found it online for $70 cheaper at that very moment. I was texting someone and telling them what happened, and they suggested that I check a different retailer and not buy from there because of the way I was being treated. I told her she can have it back and that I’d buy it online from that retailer. Had she not been so concerned with me having it, (and if we’re honest, she thought I was going to steal it) she would’ve had that $150 sale.

Came to get a few gifts I was wandering the makenup session for minutes waiting for help a couple of girls passed by but told me they could help because I was not purchasing Chanel and they worm for them.. I was about to leave when amazing Charlie came over.. what a jewel!!!! He went above and beyond helping us not only with make up and perfumes but with a gorgeous scarf.. what a wonderful asset to the store. Definitely an asset

I had the worst experience at this Nordstrom. Typically, Nordstrom is known for their high quality customer service but I feel like this location lacks the thing that’s supposed to make the company shine. I went in right when the mall opened at 10am on a weekend and wanted to try on some On shoes. I finally got the attention of an employee (didn’t get his name but was a middle aged man) who essentially kept berating me saying that On Clouds are for fashion statements only and that I shouldn’t be looking for them if I want “real running shoes.” I didn’t even specify the type of shoes I was looking for. While I appreciate the honesty, the way he approached the conversation was so unprofessional. He didn’t even look like he wanted to help me. Maybe I caught him on a bad day but to this day I refuse to step foot into this Nordstrom and would rather shop somewhere else for shoewear.

Dan was amazing and so helpful and kind. his great fashion advice helped me decide between the different color I was debating between. never had a bad experience while here! highly recommend this location for its employees and wide selection of shoes, perfume, and clothes!
