It is a great local shop and I would emphatically give it the fifth star but only for the fact that they close at 5:00 p.m. I sincerely believe that local and small business owners need put their customers needs and interests front and center, closing at 5:00 doesn't give many working people sufficient time to get over to the shop before it closes. I have raced over there several times just after 5:00 believing that no matter what it would be open to at least 6:00, only to drive there and find out it closed at 5:00.

I would highly recommend keeping the store open till at least 7:00 p.m.

Just my two cents, some constructive criticism. The store itself and the items and the people working there are outstanding.

Dazzling array of kitchen/home goods. I love that this shop also carries locally made items. If you can't find a gift here, look harder.

I just found this store and it's amazing. The mosaic artwork on the front of the building is a must see. Inside she has gifts for those on your list that are hard to find something for. Spices, teas, sauces, aprons, table runners, table cloths, kitchen appliances, and the list goes on. They personally greet everyone that comes in and it makes you feel very welcomed.

This is one of the best stores in Soldotna. The place is full of the greatest kitchen, baking and all around cooking and barbecuing items thT you could want or need. The service at the store is impeccable and they are very helpful in finding just what you need. They even ordered items they were out of stock for me as well. As a pastry chef I highly would recommend this place to anyone.
