This place was a great stop on our trip! Seems like locals and tourists alike eat here and it's no wonder, their food was pretty tasty! Loved the variety of sides. I got wild rice which was a nice addition

Had to pay for their mistake!
I ordered onion rings and got fries. I was going to let it slide but decided I really wanted the onion rings. I asked for the rings and was told they were on the way. Then the waitress came to the table to tell me it would be $2. I was okay with that, sort of, then my order arrived, and I realized I was paying 40 cents for each ring!
Waitress admitted it was her mistake.
Food was good, not anything spectacular but it was okay.

We came up here for our Valentine's weekend because Thermopolis, the world's largest mineral hot springs, is one of my favorite spots to visit in the lower 48.

When we walked in, there was a 45 min to an hour wait, which I was expecting. Service could have been better represented. We finally got help being put on the waiting list by the lady who ended up being our server. Walked over to the bar, got a drink, and waited patiently. I was excited to eat here because of wonderful reviews, and the fact that this is Wyoming and I was excited to have my steak cooked to perfection😋 I was disappointed because I asked the server her preference between the rib eye dinner($38) and the bacon wrapped pork dinner($19). She suggested the rib eye, said it was her favorite. I ordered it medium rare. It came out more medium/ medium well, in my opinion, which made my pallet sad. I asked her how she put the order in. She said medium. When i told her i ordered medium rare, she showed the ticket she wrote when taking our order to verify she asked for medium rare☹️

She came over 4 times. First time was to say she be with us shortly to take our order(she took long enough to come back that the hostess came back to check if we'd been seen yet), Second time was to take our order(while we were sitting there waiting, I had to walk to bar to get a refill on my husband's soda). The 2nd time she came over was to drop off our food. The 3rd time she came was when I called her over to ask how she ordered my steak. The 4th time she came over was after I had already walked over to the hostess to get a to-go container and my check. I was willing to tip up to 30% for a job well done, but service fell short of expectations, and so did my tip.

Service was friendly & helpful but a little hard to find after food was delivered. Atmosphere is very cozy & cool buffalo decor. Some of the decor was for sale. Had a nice reasonably priced (for souvenirs 😜) t shirts, mugs, tumblers & travel cups shop. Burgers were a bit dry but tasty. Onion rings were thick & perfect! Dinner salad fresh & tasty.

Great food and beer. Went for dinner and had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and the Jägerschnitzel with mashed potatoes as my meal. Both were fantastic. I drank multiple of the beers and all were good. I definitely will go back to try their burgers as they looking amazing too.
Went back next day and got the Cajun bison burger and was amazing.

The lettuce was decomposing in the salad bar it took an hour to get a grilled chicken sandwich we were ready to leave never got any kind of compensation or taken care of from that. The service was okay I needed water a couple times and didn't get filled. The potato skins were okay. Their salad dressing is really good though.

Had a late lunch with the family. For starters we had cheese curds and Rocky Mountain Oysters. The oysters were good and tasted generally like most organ meat (liver). They brought cocktail sauce to go with them and it was great. We ordered a flight of 4 beers including the lake creek honey ale, smokin waters wheat, porter,and Australian sparkling. All the beers were great. For entrees we had a cheeseburger, bbq bacon cheeseburger, pesto Mac and cheese, and bacon wrapped pork fillet. The burgers were great and what you expect from a brew pub. The pesto Mac and cheese was really good too. The pesto sauce was really creamy and made a good coating on all the chicken and pasta making every bite an enjoyable blend of the flavors. The pork fillet was exceptional. The pork was cooked well with a light char on the outside but juicy in the middle. The bacon on the edges provided a great additional flavor. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely eat here again.

Perfect steakhouse ! salad bar was clean and fresh with many options. Ribeye was Amazing !!! cooked as ordered and couldnt have been happier. Best steak i have had in a long while !! The waitress named Candy was sweeter than our desert 😍 , I wanted a to-go box of her !!
