TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING. THATS when you move in.
With the tour, bring a clear plastic cup. Run the water into it. All that white stuff settles to the top.
Lift the washer lid, smell in there. Mine was nasty when we moved in, they replaced it with a washer from another unit, no better than the first.
Test the stove - burners don’t work properly.
Check the medicine cabinet and make sure it fits into the hole carved for it, mine was half out the hole and cornered onto the wall.
Make sure you pay attention to emails saying you cannot put bikes etc on your balconies, but they only have limited space in their storage for bicycles.
Check the doors
Check the windows - drafty as all hell, especially the doors.
Check the windows again to make sure they open easily.
Check the dishwasher - ours stinks every time we use it, most of them need filter changes etc.
They give you a checklist when you move in, two weeks to turn it back in. TAKE THE WHOLE TWO WEEKS - you’ll find stuff. Believe me.

Except for one person, not mentioning names, who didn't want to deal with us, and made us feel like we were being disrespected, in many different ways, we love living here. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The Appartments are well cared for, clean and the whole complex is just beautiful. This is the first place we have lived and felt like we were home. The only way we will move out of here will be if or when we buy our own house, otherwise we're here to stay. I appreciate Jennifer, you're the very best. Thank you for making our stay here so pleasant.

Living here has been a fantastic experience. We moved in in April, right in the middle of the shutdowns, and the process was easy and stress-free. I love our unit, I love the community, and I love the walking path. Neighbors are kind and even worked together to help find my cat, who had gotten out. Will forever be grateful to the two neighbors who returned him to us! Maintenance and management are fantastic. Nice pool and fitness center. I do feel rent is a bit high, and I would love to see more high-end finishes (cabinets, shower, etc) included in the price, but everything else is wonderful.

I lived at Orchard Ridge for two years and had a great experience. The staff was always very friendly and responsive, and they did a fantastic job of creating a sense of community. The amenities and facilities are high quality and include things I have not seen before, like a car washing area and gift wrapping station. It is also the perfect place if you're looking for a dog friendly environment!
I only needed to call maintenance one time in my two years. On that occasion, and on the rare instances of regular maintenance, the response was fast and the work was done quickly, professionally, and with the least possible amount of disturbance - important when working from home!
Overall, my experience at Orchard Ridge was very positive and it will be the first place I look if I ever find myself moving back to the area.

Orchard Ridge has been my fiancé and I’s home for two years. The community is quiet and clean. Jenny and Erik were always so friendly when I went into the office or to the community events. Amongst the many amenities their community offers, they hosted a lot of community events throughout the year. They truly care about their residents and provide an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend to anyone who is moving to this area to check Orchard Ridge out. THEY ARE THE BEST!

We've been living at Orchard Ridge for a few years now and couldn't be happier that we made the decision to move here. We looked at active adult communities but found the cost and monthly fees more that we wanted to pay. The property is incredible and beautifully maintained. The pool is like a pool you would have at a resort! But the best part of living here is the staff, both in the office and maintenance. On the occasion when we need something, they go above and beyond. Even when I ask for something and say "ho hurry" they are there within a few hours. They really make you feel part of a community that cares for their friends and neighbors. From coffee at the club house, to treats for your pets, to participation in community charitable events, this place is the BEST.

Orchard Ridge Apartments is by far the best apartment community I have ever lived at. The office staff is extremely pleasant and made the process of moving in simple and easy. Work orders are taken care of efficiently and in a timely manner. The grounds are always kept clean and look gorgeous! Plenty of parking too. The surrounding area is quiet and serene.
