Such a clutch little bodega. They’re open later and have a better selection than anywhere else when you’re pressed. Security is tight and the people behind the counter are the sweetest, especially the kind younger man and watchful older woman. Total mainstay of Seaside community.

Have been staying in a hotel a block away working down here for 10 days. Have gone in 4 times and bought the same exact things everytime that I have shopped there and every single time the total price was completely different. He never gives a receipt and never the right change. This guy is a complete scam artist. Today he actually charged me $23 over what he originally charged me 9 days ago for the same exact items.. Beware and stay far away from this place...

Very friendly owners. Pretty good prices on everything in the store. They have pretty much every kind of beer or liquor you can think of plus anything else you could possibly need . They are definitely one of those places you would call a one stop shop .

Great little store, has all the basic items one would be going into a liquor store for, Customer service with Sam and his lovely wife, can't be beat! I've been shopping with Sam, over 25 yrs..So thumbs up Ord Terrace.

The store is small and cramped. Prices are much higher than competitors located a couple of blocks away. A very small parking area. A wheelchair would have a difficult time maneuvering inside the building. You can find a variety of snacks, wines, and some novelties there. They sell Nag Champa. Employees are friendly as well.

I agree that they have everything...Sam is a bit more pleasant than Asian woman ( maybe his spouse?), Doesn't she ever smile? Like lady...WE do NOT owe u anything, if anything EVERYONE that spends money there CONTRIBUTES n THE REASON WHY the liquor store still exist.
However...do they know about "Check cashing laws for Retailer?" They dont.

They charge more than what the law says:

VIOLATIONS (1-6)

1). Someone needed to cash a check less than $25.00, gave the rest of the money and asked her how much did she charge and she said 2.70.
2). Cashed pay check almost 1100, n Sam charged $18.00 which is beyond more than 3%.
3). A child support check for 60.00 for they charged $1-1.50, which is by law check cashing retailers CAN'T CHARGE Fee for government checks.

MORE VIOLATIONS:

4). THEY HAVE NO SIGN OF their check cashing policies, and charges
5). CHECK CASHING PERMIT/LICENSE IS NOT POSTED viewable for the CONSUMERS which is a violation.
6). CHECK CASHING RETAILERS are to provide ALL CONSUMERS receipts when consumers are being charge " check cashing fees .

There are requirements for any retailers to cash any checks. They must have license/permit to do so.

Only go here to fill up my water jugs outside. Wide variety inside but make sure to count your change! TWICE they’ve shorted me my change and when I confronted her about it the second time she said she had to check the security camera to make sure. Looped it back and it was CLEAR AS DAY that I gave her a $20 and not a $10. Disturbed me because this was the second time she’s shorted me my change. Only go here to fill water but I’ll make sure I get my change elsewhere!! COUNT YOUR CHANGE AND ASK FOR RECEIPTS!

It opened later than the rest of stores with alcohol available. They have many choices of products to choose from. The owners husband and wife have been in that location for a good amount of time. Its defiently a convenience store
