We just happened upon this place getting gas, I was so surprised how clean and nice it was. Wonderful deli sandwiches, tons of healthy but also tasty snacks/desserts/drinks and coffees. The staff were fast and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and they had a little dog park and playground too and benches to sit on. A great stop for mid trip if you need a nice break.

My husband and I stopped here on our way out of town for a sandwich but ended up buying a bunch more goodies. The snacks are locally made and very good. Lots of options to choose from and lots of high quality items, not to mention the home goods and knick-knacks. Oh and don't forget to get a sandwich! We got Italian sandwiches and they were very good...the kind you savor! It's a good thing they are not closer to home, or I would be here splurging on goodies regularly.

This is a very upscale place for just being on the side of Highway 5.
It has nearly every locally sourced gourmet option for deli, desserts, condiments, locally made olive oils, pastry counter with sweet & savory offerings. Very expensive, but worth it if you enjoy , small batch & craft made foods, like cheeses & sausages & California inspired flavours. The service is pleasant & generally college students working there.

I’ve been coming here multiple times over the last few months and have always ordered food from here. The food is absolutely delicious from breakfast sandwiches to regular sandwiches as well as juices and coffee all freshly brewed and taste amazing!

I recently just met the owners Brenda and Dean who own the Shell gas station, massive convenience store with even more food options, and their very own market that prepares all the fresh food daily.

They have built this business from the ground up since 1993 and have dedicated their lives to providing the absolute best customer service.

Within the Red barn market alone they also have a fine hand selected wines, cute little trinkets all throughout, and all healthiest options for food so you don’t have to cross the highway to the local truck stop on the other side and pickup a hotdog ready to go! 😂 lol

Lastly they also have local fresh beer on tap ready to be poured straight from the keg at a moments notice oh AND every single Yerba Mate you can think of especially if you’re a Yerba Mate lover like myself. Lol

I’ve greatly appreciated their customer service and their employees are some of the most courteous people you will ever meet!!!

Stop by sometime you will not be disappointed! 🔥💯

Orv’s chicken shack used to have the absolute BEST homemade potato wedges and ranch sauce. But sadly they changed both of those items to some barely decent pre-frozen wedges and ranch. Those two items made this place the BEST but now it’s just your ordinary, average chicken spot. Really disappointed as this was one of my favorite spots to stop at when I pass through. Will not be returning until they have the original menu with those great items are back.

Great farm market with amazing fresh food options, desert and many more goodies! We LOVED caprese sandwich made with freshly baked ciabatta bread! Clean restroom available as well.

We make it a point to stop by Orv's Farm Market when we're passing through town. We hadn't been there in a while so we're delighted to see the newly renovated building. It's a beautiful store with everything from delicious handmade chocolates, a wide selection of hot sauces, classy gifts, dried fruits and nuts plus a deli and ice cream by the scoop! It's a lovely store and worth a stop and shop when you're in the area.

This is our go-to stop as we travel from the mountains to the coast. It is always clean, has a dog walking fenced area, and a few picnic tables. It is never overly crowded as service is fast for lattes and sandwiches. The store has more gifts than you can imagine.
