Wonderful spot to find your next great read, with lots of wonderful gifts, toys, jewelry, and local items, too. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist, plus you can grab coffee and a snack to enjoy while you read, pull out your laptop, or chat with some of the local folks you find there.

Really nice literary, French Quarter vibe in this downtown. This independent bookstore captures the culture of its surroundings through the cafe, complete with people talking about their writing groups and book clubs, a bar (!) in the back that has large working spaces too and regulars sitting up at the bar talking with the bartender, and, of course, a very nice bookstore, complete with a children's section that was not lacking. This is a jewel on the Gulf!

We loved meeting and listening to Lisa Wingate! " Shelterwood!" The Wine Cellar is soooo cool with just the nicest folks! We met new friends! Love it!

Great place, just luck we landed there. I heard the live music in the Bar at the back of the store and I was in love.
Coffee shop, hand selected books, cold drinks and live music.
Can’t beat it!
Bartender and staff were excellent, the patrons were a mix of locals and travelers, everyone was friendly. Listened to Brad Lawley and Mike White do a great job of covering all sorts of songs. Told my wife I wasn’t leaving till they were done. Walked out with a happy family, smile on my face, and a bag of great books!!

Amazing shop- literally the perfect spot to stop and read, visit, relax, grab a book. This place has coffee shop, tea shop, ice cream, bookstore, and a bar. Everyone is so friendly.

Cute bookstore and Cafe in the heart of Fairhope. Tons of books and gift ideas for anyone. Didn't visit the Cafe but it looked nice and clean.

Great book store/bar/coffee shop. We went on New year's Eve, 2020 and listened to a 4 piece band ( ? acoustic guitar, Bass and mandaline). It would have been too much if there was a drummer so this was nice. We also got coffee a few times here in this trip. Great time. Also the water in the bathroom was always hot thanks to the instantaneous hot water heater in the bathroom.
