We were traveling through town and found that panhandle pet supply was conveniently located to us. I called on the phone and they were very helpful and even went on the shelf to check that they had what I needed. Once I got there that nice young gal helped me with choosing the right size and walked me back to the register. Old-fashioned service like this is hard to find in the big box stores!

Excellent service at the Capital Circle Southeast location! The storekeeper helped me read cat food labels as I didn't have proper glasses with me. She offered helpful suggestions and answered all my questions. They also have the cat toy our kitties prefer, right there at the front counter -- feathered bouncy balls. I have had positive experiences at the North Monroe location before as well. Good to have two Panhandle Pet Supply stores in town!

We LOVE Panhandle Pets! We have two working dogs and the PP staff is super knowledgeable. At both locations, anytime we have questions about food brands and ingredients the staff is more than happy to help, and they blow us away with how much they know. Beyond that, the food we buy for our pack/fur family is LESS EXPENSIVE at PP than it is on amazon, chewy, or anywhere else online. Locally owned and operated. We will never shop anywhere else.

Great selection in a clean and well organized storefront. We were having a hard time choosing an e collar for our cat, and they went as far as to show us a pic of their own cat in the inflatable collar to help us choose. 🙂 is was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely return!

Additionally, they offer fish oil and probiotic cat treats, making it a convenient one-stop shop for all pet supplies and knowledge. Vade is an amazing source of information, consistently providing excellent suggestions for issues such as itchy skin, yeasty paws, and digestive problems.

I live in Crawfordville so it's quite a trek to drive an hour toTallahassee. I made sure over the phone that they had the flea treatments in stock for my cats. They set them aside. I picked them up the next day but was disappointed. They sold me an expired bottle that expired in 2021 Luckily I caught it and returned them before driving back home. Unfortunately, the other bottle was missing the safety seal and the product looked old so now I have to drive it back there for an exchange. This isn't the first time I have had problems with this store selling out of date inferior products.

Both this location and the North Monroe location have great staff that are always very kind and helpful. I asked the employee working at this location for advice on some new food for my dogs and they gave some great suggestions.
