Review is for produce only.
While it is handy to have a corner market to pick up last minute items, I wish this were not ours. 90% of the items are overpriced ( in comparison to other small neighborhood markets), I am frequently overcharged for items that are mis-labeled (or somehow don't have the same price as the category under which they are stocked and labeled).
I also frequently get fruit and veg that rots really quickly- the berries will go moldy in a day or two, even refrigerated.
And in spite of carefully selecting produce, the blond lady will throw it on the scale and then throw it off, so your carefully selected items end up bruised anyway...

You can find many unique produce and bread.. we found some afghan flat bread (not sure about the name) it's locally made and fresh. .... the owner and workers are not super friendly up to the American standard. But I am aisan and we have a saying that that is usually a good sign to find better products !! I highly highly recommend you to go!!!

Everyone knows about Guerra Meats and this produce market just a block away is the perfect complement to it.

They carry a great selection of Bob’s Red Mill flour/grain (more than Whole Fools and Gus’) along with plenty of dried beans and legumes for stews. Produce is their forte, but you can also pick up labne and ayran here.

My quintessential Taraval errand run is: Guerra -> Parkside Farmers Market -> California Bakery for a snack.

Nice produce store, with nice products and similar prices (if not cheaper) than Safeway or Whole Foods. The staff are all very nice and work hard to keep the store presentable and clean. I especially like a lot of their beverages. A wide variety to choose from and everything is kept very fresh. I've been coming here since I was 6 and would recommend it to anyone passing by.

If I need Mediterranean and middle eastern spices and ingredients, I come here to get most . They also have fresh veggies and fruits at reasonable prices. They have awesome Mediterranean types of cheese such as feta .
