❌❌❌ Absolute nonsense. I was checking out some of my favorite sunflower seeds, and while turning the SEALED bag upside down to check the expiration date, the bag dropped one seed cause it was ripped! The second the owner saw this, HE LOST HIS MIND! You need to pay! You need to pay, you opened the bag! But, first off, the seeds were expired probably, and secondly, why are you so mad? The bag wasn't even opened by me, it was a manufacturer issue. The bag was sealed wrong. And in the end, most of the food in there was expired, all he wanted was money, and he didn't even pay right change, what a absolute WASTE of time. Do not go inside or you will get ripped off!! ❌❌❌

$3.99 for a gallon of distilled water! AND rude! AND insisted on cash! $1.09 in Safeway. $1.89 in most gas stations. $1.99 ONCE in a small store at lake Havasu. Here? $3.99! I told the Indian guy I was buying water not gasoline. Price gougers & rude while doing it. Go anywhere else!

Owner gave me back a penny when he should have given me a quarter back in change. After I realized and asked, he lied to my face and said he didn’t give me a penny even though it was sitting right there in my hand. He was rude when I politely asked.

Prices are overly high as well.

Rudest staff behind the counter I have ever seen!! The doors were wide open and the lights were on, so we walked in at 10:53pm with the intention of grabbing a drink. As soon as we walk in he said "I'm waiting on you guys to leave." So we said okay and went to quickly select what we would like. After about a minute he said "We are closing." Which seemed rude and weird to me that he needed to repeat himself, so I asked him what time exactly he closed. He responded and said "Right now. Once you leave." I asked if his closing time was 10:53 or 11:00. He hesitated for a moment and then once again repeated that he was closing "right now". So I went up to pay for my drink and he chose that opportunity to let me know he is only accepting cash because he is closed. We had to shorten the list of things we were buying to accommodate the small amount of cash we had on hand. He was rude throughout the entire check out process as well. This is not good or even ok customer service. I dont walk into a liquor store expecting VIP treatment, just human decency. If he felt so inclined a quick "Hey guys, just so you know we are closing at 11pm tonight." would have been sufficient. I also do not find it good practice to close your register BEFORE your official closing time. I have always visited this place in the past on my trips and visits but I will no longer be patronizing this particular store.

This used to be a good local place to go to four basics. In the last two to three years that has been bought out by syrians who have no shame and shopping at the dollar store in Morro Bay and bringing goods that cost them $1 per piece and reselling them for $5. These people are thieves avoid them at all cost.

There isn’t a lot of places that were open for snack before heading home so we stopped here. This place was ridiculous expensive! I spent 50 dollars on a few snacks. The worker there was so rude. I had asked him politely if I could get another drink because the one I got broke and he accused me of breaking it on purpose and assumed I was lying. Won’t come here again.
