"Pay & Save" - unclear what you're "saving" - $12.99 for a case of LaCroix (& not marked as such). I think I'll "save" elsewhere.

This is a small place has everything from pet food to chips to alcohol to some refrigerator items. Great for last-minute items, the only downside is some of the isles are very narrow and tall.

The products are labeled incorrectly in price. I got a 12 pack for what I thought was going to be $17.99 because that's what the price tag on the case was and then when it was rung up it was $28, a price I would have paid but in the moment I was very upset to have the case day one thing and then the charged price to be $10 more than what I was told. I then asked why there was such a big priced difference and his response was to scratch off the original price. Be honest about your prices and RESPECT what you have labeled. I understand that the cashier has no say in the price but honor the price on the label.

The old owners sold about a year ago. That entire extended family was wonderful. The new owners and/or the staff they hire aren’t so much rude as distant and inattentive. You can be waiting at the counter for a minute before someone notices you ... even if they’re behind the counter! And it is more expensive than it used to be. I don’t go there nearly as often as I used to. The place has no soul now. And they don’t seem to care about their customers.

They are the SWEETEST people ever!
Once in a while they have free giveaway candy, if you can name a quote from the movie they choose. But other than that, they are very convenient, they have almost everything you need when you are hungry at 12am in the morning. I cannot see why they would ever get a bad review... i would know, I LIVE LIKE 5 HOUSES DOWN!

Overpriced merchandise, rude staff even when you do try to brave it. Why would you go in here when there are massively better shopping options less than a block away like Bi-Rite? Honestly I'm surprised it's even still in business. I do not recommend.

BEWARE - dodgy scammers - My partner handed over $50 to buy about $7 worth of food. We only received change for $20. When we challenged them they said we didn't hand over a $50. I'd hate to think how many tourists they play this trick on.
