I Have been stopping in every summer for years, I went today and my gosh, the customer service was terrible, extremely rude. We usually get deli sandwiches and milk shakes.. they’ve pretty much doubled the price of everything, over last 2 years. Large milkshakes are $12 now, and they didn’t even fill it up to the top of the cup. Seems like the new owner cares more about his pockets than he does the customers. I’m leaving 2 stars because the food and drinks still taste good, but they really need to focus on customer service, especially in such a small town before they run this business into the ground.

Came in today paid 22 bucks for 1 sandwhich 1 bag of chips and a cookie the bread was so hard and stale coukdnt eat the sandwhich this place is going down hill

Well stocked store near the lake. We bought some fresh produce and steaks. The only disappointment was that we paid $17/lb for thick steaks. When we asked them to cut them in half, butterfly style, the lady said to me, "Cant you just do it at home?" She then explained the butcher was gone and the one other man in the store who knows how to slice meat in half was too busy to help us. Although their customer service is lacking I will definitely go back. Everything we bought there was really good - especially yhe steaks!

They have a fresh meat area with steaks , chicken , pork along with a deli with homemade salads , brownies, cookies and such.
Not too much for produce but its enough for a quick trip for dinner ingredients. They also have a very extensive wine cellar as well.

Really gone down hill since Wally sold to the new ownership. Use to be a real treat to visit everytime I was at Lake Almanor... not anymore. Very disappointing.
