I bought 6 fish from the Dothan pet supermarket on October 12. I have an established tank and had some fish in there for over 3 years. Within a week of putting the fish from pet supermarket in my aquarium all my fish were dead from ick. Please be aware when you get fish from there. When I called I got a we are sorry but nothing about the money I lost because of their sick fish. Won't go back there again.

Love this place if you have animals or what animals this is the place to go. My cat is on a strict diet and this is the only place in Dothan Al that carries different varieties and are a good price compared online! If you need any reptile advice or cats i highly recommend u ask for Ryan. Great customer service and the store is amazing and for a pet store it’s super clean

Pretty good selection, prices vary. They have cheaper higher end aquarium filters than competitors yet most of their dog food is marked up. Employees are a toss up. Some are eager to help and make friendly conversation. Others should've just not bothered showing up.

We go here often. I've bought a Chubby frog who we've lovingly named Chunk from this establishment. We go back often for crickets and to pet the bunnies and ferrets. They also have lots of snacks that our sweet dogs adore. And the people who work there are always so kind and helpful ✨ ?

Went into the store to buy a lizard. The lady literally told me she wouldn't sell me one unless I bought a 6ft tall enclosure for $180. The lizard I wanted wasn't even 3 inches long. She said it couldn't be in a glass enclosure even though they have them in glass in the store....? Don't make any sense to me

The prices were right in line with what I found at online stores but I was able to really see and touch the items which helped me visualize what would work best for our new Guinea pig setup. The store was clean and inviting for bringing your furry friends. The customer service at this store has been phenomenal the both times I've been here. They were knowledgable and very patient to answer all the questions I had. I would typically give 5 stars for all this greatness but the one drawback is that they were out of stock of some items both times I went and couldn't really say when they'd be back in stock. That very well may not be in their control with all the supply-chain issues these days. Even so, this is a new favorite store for me!!

The store is clean and well stocked. I was there for fish and fish supplies. The employees were quick to offer help without being pushy. Very question was answered easily, sweetly,and professional. Can't act to go back.

The only complaints I have are the same I have about all pet stores one being how they keep snakes they have that need humidity on aspen bedding and it looks dry as a bone in there. Also, I always need small frozen rats and theu are always out and the prices on their rats are high
