My husband and I were in this store last week to buy a 75 gallon fish tank and cabinet, and everyone that helped us was super nice even though it was very busy at the time. Thank you all so much for your help! We love the new tank and so do the frogs and fish!!

Petsmart is my go-to place for crickets and meal worms for my leopard gecko. I wish they would have the help button back there, but other then that service was great,even the bathrooms were clean. Mike the cashier was nice and helpful up front.

Menifee PetSmart has had a small dog rescue in their store for 5 years, allowing them to adopt their dogs on Sundays, helping many doggies go to loving forever homes. This is a no-kill rescue that does a lot of good. They have enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with PetSmart, saving dogs. I even adopted one of their dogs.

Recently, a new angry store manager took over and a rescue worker told me he kicked the rescue out of their store after he unnecessarily caused an issue and (I was told) he assaulted a rescue worker and lied to corporate about it. His actions will only hurt the rescue, and ultimately the dogs, who are innocent collateral.

I was told that
corporate PetSmart stood behind their manager's decision without conducting any kind of investigation. Apparently the whole incident was caught on store cameras, including the assault, and could prove what the rescue worker alleged had PetSmart cared enough to check. Apparently they don't.

I have done business with this rescue and donate to them on a regular basis. I know the owners and workers to be honest, caring people who only want to help these dogs. It is a wonderful rescue and doesn't deserve to be the victim of a self-serving haughty store manager and a clueless corporate. I, personally, will not shop at any PetSmart again. I have heard this from a reliable shocked rescue worker who is sad to end such a good relationship that they had had for 5 years. A relationship that benefitted the dogs and the community as a whole.

FOLLOW-UP:
Kahoots Pet Store in Menifee has allowed the rescue to be part of their store. It has been a wonderful place for the rescue and they have adopted many more dogs from Kahoots than they did at PetSmart. The employees are top-notch friendly people who do everything they can do to help the rescue. They are glad to have the rescue at their store. Needless-to-say I have started giving Kahoots my business and I couldn't be happier! To show what a caring rescue they are, I have attached a photo of Summer. She needed an expensive operation at the expense of the rescue which is operated solely by donations and is costly to run. I am happy to report that darling little Summer is recovering nicely. I have also attached a photo of a kitten that was abandoned by momma cat and rescued when he was only 4 days old. The rescue worker has been bottle feeding this little kitten every 2 to 3 hours. The kitten is thriving and happy. This is the type of people who donate countless hours of service to these dogs (and kitten, lol). They even add their own money to keep the rescue operating. A big thank you to Kahoots in Menifee for helping the rescue to be able to continue their awesome work to help these wonderful animals!!

I took my dog ​​for a haircut there for the second time, a few months apart. The first time I showed a picture and was told specifically that she could do it and there was no problem, when I came back I got something completely different because she just did what she wanted. Today after 3 months I took the mini toy poodle dog and the same thing happened I asked for something very specific I was told that they would probably have to cut her shorter than I wanted and I agreed but what they did they just shaved the dog's whole body including the face and ears that are swollen and full of hair like 2 Completely different dogs. If you don't know or can't meet the customer's request, just say you can't and don't say yes that you'll actually do something else. Disappointed for the second time. I will never go back there in my life and of course I will advise my friends not to go there either!

And they charged me $91 for it!!!!

Great place to take the family to find a new furry dog, quirky cat, scaly reptile, tiny mammals, birds or even a fish or two. The only downside is the lines are long to pay for the products, but overall still an awesome place to shop for all your pet essentials.

Crystal in PetSmart Grooming did an amazing job taking care of my dog. Very professional, sweet and awesome customer service. Will be coming back to this specific location as long as she’s around!

First I want to start by saying anytime I come here the staff is rude, second their prices of dog food is cheaper at target for the same brand and third I placed a curbside pickup today and I called the store twice and it just rang and rang. So I went inside to pickup my CURBSIDE order. Then I stood in line for a few minutes as they only had 1 person checking and about 5 people in line with a few other associates in the office and a few more walking around. I asked an associate stocking near the line to grab my order for me or if there was a certain place I needed to be to pick up my CURBSIDE order. I showed the associate my confirmation email and then told her my last name. She then got another associate to help her and proceeded to ask for my ID I’m well I don’t have it on me as I wasn’t planning on getting out of my car. Then as I was leaving she asked me again for my last name? Tf? I asked if she just wanted to keep the paper I have a copy in my email. This place needs to get it together and get better training and customer service, you will probably go out of business. I won’t be shopping here anymore after today. Literally everywhere else has cheaper prices for the exact same brand/product. Bye PetSmart!

I took my standard poodle in to have groomed. I had an appointment with the person who did it last time and was wonderful. Another woman said she would do it instead. Two hours latter they called me to come in and get her. She was shaking her ears which had been shaved raw along with her tail. This is not how you cut a poodle. I am so happy we got her out of there before this woman shaved her whole body. Run from here, don’t walk.
