Wow, this place is still doing business. When I was a young boy we lived a few blocks away on Dora Street. I used to walk with my big sis to get candy at this market. This is was in 1960! I remember it because it was such a treat to get candy.

I get my lottery tickets here and I do quite well with them. Friendly employees. Just recently went back to this market to cash 40 dollars in tickets in and was told that one of the tickets had already been turned in when I knew it hadn't been and was offered 20 dollars in what I was told were winning tickets that he was going to give me for the ticket he said had been turned in. When I argued with him that I just purchased them yesterday and brought them in the very next day to get the cash for them he got mad and told me to take my 40 dollars and never come in his store ever again and after that believe me I won't be going there ever again and be careful when dealing with the owner. He's the one who told me to leave and never come back.

Worst store & bobby will rip you off & don't say tank you come again He pays Joe 250 month cash which is 3000 a year & don't even pay rent or report to IRS or social security because Joe is on ssi

Really nice staff! The fresh pitas is amazing and very reasonable prices! The smell of baking bread is mouthwatering! I highly recommend this little place! 5+ stars customer service!

This is a hole in the wall liquor store next to a very shady bar you never know what you're going to see over there from homeless people to skin heads coming out of the bar. The prices are okay not on the cheaper side but on the more upscale for the area however you can pretty much find what you're looking for there as far as liquor the guys behind the counter are very nice but they will watch you walk around even if they know you
