Great hypermarket of various fruits and vegetables. The customer service was excellent and I loved the selections of Louisiana based products. They also have highlighted areas for local vendors. I adored the custom gumbo bowls!!! (See photos attached to this review.)

If you're traveling this is a great place to stop. I would highly recommend it!

I love this little side market! You can find some homemade canned products such as honey, molasses and pickled veggies and eggs. They have fresh produce from local farmer/homesteaders such as fruits, veggies, meat, pecans, etc.. oh and they sell somecandy, porch swings, rocking chairs and thing-a-ma-bobs too.
It's off 415 (Lobdale) , the road that connects HWY 190 to I-10 near PORT ALLEN, Louisiana.
Go see them for some local honey or some beef cuts from cows that haven't been pumped full of who knows what!

Went this morning and was extremely disappointed. The selection was very limited, a lot of what was there was not even fresh, and the ginger root had mold growing on it. I would say most was on the verge of rotting except some of the tomatoes and egg plant. I also did not see organic options. This place was just a waste of time.

I love this fruit stand. However, I wouldn't advise buying the freeze dried candy. Some of it was very hard and stuck together. Like moisture had been reintroduced to the candy. This is not their fault, it's hot and humid as heck in louisiana so this is to be expected with some products. Considering this is an outside fruit stand though, I think we should stick with what we do best! The service is always great, the ladies are super helpful. I particularly love the lady with the little dog. ❤️ she always helps me with my watermelon picking, and I get snuggles from the puppy.

So, we left a review about the bad service given to us last Thursday morning between 9 and 9:30 a.m. for 2 reasons.
1- to inform the management of what was going on in their place of business .... I know if it was my livelihood I would want to know.
2-to inform others.

As you can see by our other reviews, we tend not to leave bad ones. I don't like to complain.

But, I am irritated because I will get no satisfaction for the way I was treated,
I liked the thought that I was buying local goods
I really enjoyed my previous visits there 99% of the time. The ladies were always friendly and actually spoke to us.
Now Pierre Part store will get our business.

Nice neighborhood produce market. Very friendly service. The new owner is really great and customer oriented. She even remembers your name. She has a bright Sunshine smile and personality. And plans to improve and remodel the place.
I believe in supporting local businesses as much as possible!:)

PO Folks is amazing. Make sure after you get the fresh fruits and veggies that you head to the fridge section. BEST salads ever and wonderful prices for “Made Fresh Daily” homemade salads. Big variety of green salads with chicken and blueberries, hot wings style chicken and blue cheese crumbles, pasta salads galore and stuffed artichokes and lately artichoke balls! Not to mention the service is so personal!!!
