Let me first just start off by saying wow! This is long overdue. I live half the year in Utah and half the year in Santa Barbara and the first thing I always do when we get back to Santa Barbara is go to poppy. What a beautiful kids store. But not only that Alex is about the best in the business. She is so professional and at the same time so kind, FUN and most importantly she engages with my 4 young children. She keeps them happily Entertained with paper and crayons all while strumming up age appropriate conversation with my children. I have to say this makes all
The difference as a mom. If my kids are happy then I have more time to do what I do best and that’s shop for them! It’s the perfect combination! So lucky to call this store my go to. And my kids are equally if not more excited to go and see Alex as they are to see their bird friend milk 🙂 Bravo!

Had an absolutely lovely experience shopping for my new niece and nephew. I was helped by Alex the manager, who truly went above and beyond for me. This is my 3rd time in the store, and each time is just as pleasant as the last. Can’t wait to come back and spoil my sister’s kids!

I’m a local Monteceito mom and while I absolutely love the clothes in the store the service is horrible. Their manager Alex does not smile or say hello to anyone. She has a very rude attitude and makes no effort to help. It’s truly unfortunate, because I love supporting the local shops and the store has the most beautiful stuff but the staff really does ruin the experience. You are never greeted with a warm hello or a smile. Alex, the manager who’s been there every time I’ve made a purchase, never even acknowledges you or offers to help. She seems to be very unhappy or to be on her phone when I’m in the store. Sadly, I will not go back to the store and chill they change management because it’s just such an unpleasant experience. As other reviews also comment the poor Customer service.

This review is long overdue. I've been here quite often over the past year. I've had both Alex and Miley help me. I always have fun shopping here for my friends kids. Love the selection, the quality of the merchandise, and the staff. I always refer people here as well.
