Stopped in for a new little league bat and was very pleased. They have a different selection from the big box store and were very helpful. Spent additional time in there talking about their Harman pellet stoves. I will definitely be returning. Love the fact that it is a family run business.

I just bought a new Stihl KombiSystem from these guys today and thought there service was fantastic. They were very friendly, answered all my questions, and they even took the time to show me how to use the system right there. I will definitely continue to go back there!

Great service - knowledgeable staff.

For years I have maintained my own coal stove. This year, I thought it would be a good idea to have someone look it over. I called Ports Sports Emporium and Tim showed up the next day. Tim taught me things about the stove I never new. Within an hour, he had my stove apart, cleaned, new gaskets, oiled and back together. I highly recommend you call Ports to check out your stove.

I always try to shop locally and support Bellefonte businesses. I have shopped in this store before and never had a problem but recently made a purchase and wanted to return it. First, I was told that I had to wait 10 days until my check cleared. They kept my item and wrote a note on my receipt and told me to come back. I thought this was very strange but I fully expected to get my money back when I returned. I came back after the wait time and was then told that I would not be getting my money back because the item I returned(with the original store tag still attached) was dirty and stretched(the waist band). I told her that we didn't do anything to the item and that she couldn't prove that the item wasn't that way when I purchased the item. She told me that she would either give me a store credit or she could try to "sell" it for me for half price. I didn't need a store credit because I didn't need any more sporting items and I think it would have been unfair to me to have them "sell" it for me for half price. For all I know, the item got dirty while they held it there at the store or was that way when I purchased it. The dirt, if there really is any, obviously is not that noticeable and the waist band is only slightly stretched. That's what happens when you try things on, they are supposed to stretch. I have never been treated like that in any store I have ever shopped in and will not ever shop there again. I also feel that the person I talked to was very rude and she started out that way before I even had a chance to say anything when I walked in the store. I will be sure to tell all of the sporting families I know about the experience that I had there. BAD BUSINESS practice and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
