I love this Publix. They have great customer service but something needs to change concerning their food bar and the deserts. Every time I buy chicken whether it’s a rotisserie chicken or fried it has no seasoning on it. I bought some fried chicken wings but when I finally got home to eat I discovered the chicken was not fully cooked. The chicken does not taste as good as it’s does at other locations. Also, the deserts that be in the glass are old. Every time I walk up to the glass the same M&M cookie is sitting there. It’s been sitting there for at least 4 months now. I don’t know if this Publix just leave old deserts out until someone buys it or what. If you go in this Publix right now it’s the same M&M cookie that’s been there for ever. I notice that with a few deserts they been sitting in the same spots for months. Same issue with the donuts that’s showing on display as well. They’re not fresh and been sitting there for months. I wish someone would look into this. I’m happy I live close to a Publix but it’s sad if I want fresh hot good chicken or good desert I have to go to Hoover or 280. Publix in Pell City step your game up and stop selling old food. Please cook fresh food and deserts daily. Throw that old food away!

Whoever is decorating the cakes needs to find and different job! If someone is spending $60 on a cake it shouldn’t look like a 10 year old decorated it! Very disappointed! I gave a whole week in advance to have this cake made. It doesn’t even look like the picture! Don’t waste your money!

I ordered a cake and was told it would cost $59.95 for the larger cake or $29.95 for the smaller one. I ordered the larger one but when I went to pay for it I was charged $79.95 plus tax. Plus the cake was very dry and very little filling between the layers. Very disappointed. For the amount I ended up having to pay, it should have been perfect. Will NEVER order that cake again. BTW, I had to take the cake although the price was more than I was quoted because I was on my way to a birthday party and I was asked to bring the cake.
