Stopped in for carrot cake & Italian sub. Both were delicious. The deli employees were super friendy and helpful. Found Cheesecake Factory cheesecake in the frozen area. Folks at checkout were also friendly and engaging. Great store, well stocked and easy to get in & out of.

I'm local. I order often because I work here in the same plaza. I have a huge issue with the Deli department. I like to order ahead because I work at an urgent care with a tight schedule with standing lunches. I don't have time to go back and forth about an order I placed online, with email confirmation, and be told the order does not exist. This has happened on a couple occasions, however this one in particular was my last straw. I ordered a chicken 6-piece meal with 2 sides--I paid online. A coworker runs across the parking lot to pick up our clinics order. Of course, I get a call that mine is not there and doesn't exist. After being on the hold line forever I speak to a male named Taylor. He says they didn't have one of the sides or the spicy breaded chicken and that is why my order was not made. I wasn't called or emailed for any substitutes. This held up all the staffs' orders just to get mine corrected. I'm truly over this reoccurring. If management wants to call me that would be great.

the store is very large and clean. Lots of fresh food and variety. I realize that this location is at a tourist area but the cost of so much of their products is REALLY HIGH ......almost twice as high as any regular grocery elsewhere. Food costs are up...but their costs are shocking.

Unbelievable experience. We rolled into town at 8:30 on a weeknight and you would have thought it was a Saturday afternoon - the staff was super friendly and very attentive. Heather did an incredible job checking us out at the register. The guy in produce said he would go into the back to get me a bunch of green onions. And another guy offered to take me to an aisle where something was located (rather than just telling me the aisle). I love coming to Publix every chance I get.

I just moved to Orange Beach and generally try to go somewhere else before Publix because of pricing. That being said, the customer service at this location was outstanding ! Rochelle took quite a bit of time patiently helping me download the app showed me how to find coupons and other discounts, then I get to the register and Trenton was absolutely AMAZING! His customer service skills, his smile and was able to help when I couldn’t get the coupons to work. He is a huge asset to your location! Him and Rochelle both are . Then as I’m walking out Ryan helped me get the two cases of water into my car. I truly hope a manager will personally speak to Trenton and the team members I mentioned to let them know what a great job they are doing ! I will definitely be back!! Keep up the good work !

Safe parking lot, easy access in and out. Safe exit onto Perdido Beach Blvd.
The departments are laid out well and the adjacencies are well planned.
Publix is not a place to do shopping for a family of 6, the prices are too high. However, for a quick run, a few items , it is a sure bet.
One thing missing on the receipt is an item total count. I wonder if this is by design because they are the higher priced grocery chain.
Clean and neat comes at a price.

Definitely a nice Publix. It is easy to find as it is on the nortwest corner of hwy 161 and hwy 182. The store is clean and is well stocked. They even have a few isles of beach supplies. We found the prices to be comparable to other Publix locations. The employees are all friendly and helpful as we find in all Publix store. We will be returning during our stay here.

Bakery: I ordered the pictured cake a day before the event I needed it for (I provided the store with a picture of what I wanted ). Upon placing the order I was told it would be ready at noon the next day. I arrived at 2pm the following day and was offered a white cake with the number 25 in black letters - nothing like what I had ordered. The same attendant from the previous day reported that the morning shift was not informed of the details and colors I requested and this is what they had created. Long story short they ended up redecorating the cake to what we had requested but we had to wait an extra half hour while we already had the family waiting in the car. At no point before pick up did they call or text to inform us of the problem.
