I love shopping at Publix Pharmacy at the Shoppes of Lake Tuscaloosa. The store is always very clean and well stocked. Plus the workers are always polite and helpful. They always greet me with a smile on their face.

After several years, I've come to realize the employees at this location have a very minimal sense personal space or common sense. They will literally try to sweep under your feet or stand in the middle of a checkout lane while you try to load the conveyer belt. Surprisingly, it's usually the same young male with glasses. Clearly there's a learning curve. Additionally, it's absolutely absurd how high Publix has the audacity to raise prices and then label something buy one get one free. In no other store in this city will you find 2 liters for $4.00-$5.00 individually. I guess it's a good thing for this location that there really isn't another grocery option for 10-15 minutes. I would also forgo asking the bakery for anything unless you have to, because they will act like you are a nuisance.

Nice store. Went to try their lunch subs. Ordered online, but when picking up the lady I was directed to, it was not very friendly. Sorry, I didn't know there order pickup process but I missed the sign by picking up cheese spread first (good honey goat cheese). She was not listening to me well. I had to say my last name 3 times. After all of not finding my order by name or a # she couldn't use. My hot sandwich was in a special pickup area further down the store. I just apologized got some crackers and got out of there before I got rude. Oh my! The Sandwich was very hot and good with pices individual wrapped.

Honestly...not a good Publix at all. The produce is limited and many times old. Workers are great. Even though it is very close to my house, I search out absolutely anywhere else I can find to get my fresh food.

This is a great neighborhood Publix real close. It’s always a quick in and out and the service is always top notch. They keep this place sparkling clean and stocked. Definitely recommend this Publix over any other grocer in the area.
