I love this grocery store. Everyone that works there is so friendly and there is always someone to help you with your bags and they are not aloud to take tips. And if I can't find something or if they don't have something i have to go get it at Walmart they always get it to see how it sells. I'm sure it has to be on a product that can be ordered on the list they can shop for. I remember going around with the Manger of the store and giving him three items I go to Walmart for and the only one that they could get was the land o lakes while cheese. And what's so funny is that they still have my suggestions are still on the shelves. I'm sure that if any customer gave a suggestion on something they would like to see on the shelves they'd make a small order to see how it does.

I hate to give my local Publix 3 ot of 5 stars, but the truth is, as the prices have gone up in this horrible current economy (which is not their fault), this Publix products & services have gone down! I have seen regular turnover of staff over the past couple of years, and their management has really been the worst part of the turnover. As I shop around the store looking for the items I want to buy, I see many department managers standing around talking with each other rather than doing their jobs! There are random product outs throughout the aisles of the store, but then you may find a ton of that product in a dump bin or display somewhere else in the store. As a retail manager myself, I know to look for this kind of thing, but as an average customer, I may not! Rather than standing around, these department managers should be balancing these basic department outs from these secondary display locations for their customers. Both the produce and meat department quality have dropped as well. If I'm shopping on a day that I'm not in a hurry I now choose to drive to the Pelham tank farm location because it is more like the Publix in Alabaster use to be a few years ago!

I just wanted to say thank you Publix for all you do because I just went shopping at Walmart across the street and there was no shopping experience. The cash register attendant spent my checkout time complaining about her manager, telling her to do customer service lol,, it was upsetting for her.
There was one good thing they were good at the countdown until closing starting at 30 min 15 min 10 min 5 min …and one…CLOSED!!! And then the stare down at the register before the discussion of the manager. Holy Moly!

Everyone is always nice and helpful. Every single employee greets you as you pass them- even those stocking the shelves.

We shop the BOGOs and end up coming out fantastically.

I prefer this location to the pelham huntley location which is much closer to me. Produce seems fresher & more bountiful. Maybe it's a newer store.

They always have what you need. Plus, we LOVE $5 sushi on Wednesdays!

Absolute worst publix I've ever been in. Has a awful vegetable section. Not fresh. And the meat selection is basically non existent. And just bad. As much as I don't like shopping at Walmart you might as well just go across the street and shop there. Publix is supposed to have a certain standard and this one just doesn't have it not sure if it's the demographic or the management. It's a disgrace to the Publix name.

I went to the deli to get fried chicken. I was told they didn't have any because they forgot to order it. It is always an excuse when you order chicken there. I will never be back for chicken.
