I had a wonderful experience at Racks for the Road! The customer service is excellent, the shop is cool, and the products are high quality. Ryan helped me trouble shoot to come up with multiple solutions to solve my problem. I needed to have the option of putting luggage/gear on my roof, but I also needed to have space for surfboards. I ended up doing new Yakima Timberline racks with the Yakima Skinny Warrior cargo basket. This setup enables me to tie down surfboards and carry gear in a separate compartment, all while avoiding any hitch cargo (which I preferred). Overall, great experience working with a great shop! Check them out for sure.

To say we’re impressed is an understatement. Ryan assembled and installed a roof rack and rooftop tent on our Jeep and did an excellent job—clear communication, attention to (even small) details, and at a price that cannot be beat. We can’t wait to go on the next adventure!

I showed up late on a Friday to buy a Thule roof box. Ryan opened his bay door so that I could drive my minivan in for the install. He opened the cardboard box and we lifted the roof box on top of the van. Ryan walked me through how to properly install it and I was back on the road in no time! Ryan is a very nice guy and goes the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of. Why buy directly from Thule when you get this personalized experience at Racks on the Road? Besides, the prices listed on Thule's website were the same as Racks on the Road! This one is a no-brainer.

1 year later and I still love my Thule rack system and bike rack. Ryan did a great job of providing options based on my needs/wants, and did an excellent job with the installation. Ryan also did a great job installing a hitch on my wife's Highlander ordered through a third party.
I live 45 minutes away, and Ryan and Racks for the Road will always be my go to for Rack needs.

This was an absolutely perfect bike rack purchase, assembly and installation experience. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about bike racks, asked me questions about my usage, and helped me select a Kuat NV which was perfect for my SUV and use. He assembled it for me—it would have taken me hours. Then I went to his store to purchase it and he installed it and educated me on its features. I already used it for a ride this morning and could not be happier.
