Best department variety store anywhere. Very high quality men’s and women’s clothing, amazing variety or cooking, kitchen, table goods; home goods unique gifts of highest quality and yes top shelf Ojai wear. Well worth a visit. 5 Stars.

This was just like the department store I went to with my grandma in the town I grew up in. Lots of variety, convenient, really nice and knowledgeable salespeople. I was in Ojai 2 nights and went back several times for nostalgia and to support the type of business that used to be the backbone of small towns.

Highly recommend (they also carry local and inexpensive products for souvenirs)

Been going to Rains since we moved here early 80’s. It’s the perfect place to find a unique gift and even some locally made items and beautiful artwork!
