I’ve repeatedly experienced terrible service at the Ralphs in Manhattan Village (Manhattan Beach, CA) regarding their advertised Western Union services. Despite the signage, Western Union is never available. The customer service desk is always empty, and after hunting down an employee, they inevitably defer to a manager named Elva. Unfortunately, Elva is consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, simply stating, “It’s not working” or telling me to “come back later” with no clear answers or solutions.

This has been a recurring issue for years, and it’s frustrating to have my time and energy wasted. If the store can’t provide Western Union services, they shouldn’t advertise it. The lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly urge Ralphs management to address this issue.

I love this Ralphs! I come here all the time and they always have what I need. Whether it's a sandwich (shout out to you, Nichole!) or full on groceries, this is the place to go in the South Bay. I can't recommend it enough!

This is in a richer area of Los Angeles so they have paper bags for free rather than nickel and diming you for thicker plastic. That's privelege (automatically getting the more environmentally friendly product for free because you live somewhere nicer.) Otherwise, it's a regular Ralphs.

Came here to get sun screen before heading to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were also happy we were able to use our Kroger card (I used to be a Ralphs loyal customer!).

There is no such product that you can’t find at this Ralphs! It is THE BEST store, in which you can shop. It is very clean and organized. Every product is always fresh, including vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, and baked goods (which are also made daily). All employees are very friendly and helpful. There is a Japanese kitchen section, which cooks delicious sushi daily.

Its really understaffed. There is always lines to check out, basically any time of day, bc they do not hire enough people to work check out. And the ones that are working seem so stressed out. Just hire cashiers like whats the issue?

Love the size and variety of this Ralphs but they never have enough lanes open, including self-checkout. Lines are always backed up into the aisles.
