Stopped here for a possible scarf, but we ended up with a table runner. Not sure how we jumped to that. This place has alpaca wool that is used for the clothes. It is extremely soft and I really should have gotten a scarf.

The person running the store was helpful and very chill. This is also at the top area of Jim Thorpe with all the old homes and church.

Stopped in here while in town on vacation, just shopping around the town. The gentleman working the store that day was abrasive, catty, and unnecessarily argumentative. I made a simple statement about how the clothing reminded me of the stuff my mom brought back from Bolivia, and he used it as an opportunity to bite my head off about the shop's "actual country of origin." We elected to politely leave without even really considering buying anything. Whoever owns the shop should reconsider who they want representing their business, because this guy completely turned us off to coming back.

That said, from what we did see, the merchandise did look very nice. A shame the atmosphere felt so unnecessarily hostile because of the person working the shop.

Superb collection of authentic blankets, clothing and accessories from Ecuador. Our 4th year visiting the store. Staff could be friendlier.
