It's a little store. But, when there's nothing else around (besides a DG up the road) it's a staple in this community. When I stopped, it was a little busy. Only 2 cashiers open. And that's how it was last time I was there. So, it's not a place to go if you're in a rush. If you were expecting to see the 'what used to be typical Shop n Save pricing', you'd be disappointed, as I was. I thought Giant Eagle was expensive! This place's prices sadly, were almost just as ridiculous. But, it is clean and bright. The cashiers were friendly. They also have a self-serve microwave handy, so if you purchase something and want to warm it up, you could. They also have a deli. I forgot to notice if they had a bakery or not. I will visit this store in the future. I'd rather give my money to a store that's been in a community for 40+ years, than DG.

Kersten the cashier working 23 Nov around 1 pm was the worse representative of the Russellton store I've experienced.
After her attitude being acknowledged by me, the customer she refused to apologize. I called the manager. She refused to have kersten apologize.
So I let both of them know I can always go to Giant Eagle or Walmart and Kersten looked at me and shook her head yes in agreement.
So Shop N Save your employee just sent me else where.

Never put a foot in your store again.

Sadly this place is run like a hs & because there's a union certain employees are continually permitted to treat people, co-workers & customers alike, with disrespect & ignorance! She assits in the training of new hires only to bark orders when they do something wrong instead of teaching them how to do it right, as she should be with patience! I have witnessed this first hand and this is the main reason they've lost a lot of my business. Also, their produce is just awful! I do like their meat selection and all of the other people who work there so it's sad!!

The icing that comes from this place is the best that I have ever had! I went to middle school and high school here. I moved around but every time I come home, I have to get cake from shop and save Russellton.

I came in here the other day because I wasn’t able to make it to Aldi in time. On top of them overcharging for everything, the meat and produce is pretty bad. The potatoes were spoiled. Took a chance on the steak which went bad 2 days later and had to toss it. They are charging close to the same price of name brand items for their generic stuff. The name “Shop n Save” doesn’t reflect this store because you’re not doing much saving here.

Don’t shop here. Poor quality food and always have to watch expiration dates. Mainly though- their prices are beyond high (it’s like they are taking advantage of people with how high their prices are). And I’m not just referring to inflation prices. It’s worse than that. And to top it off the people who work there are miserable and rude. An employee actually yelled at me when I politely questioned a price. I heard an older employee not talk nicely to a teenager who works there as well.

I went to Shop and Save to get salad dressing for my salad at work. I went to the produce section and chose a bottle of strawberry poppy seed salad dressing. I got back to the office, tried opening the bottle of salad dressing and I could not open it. I took the bottle to a co-worker who was able to open it after much struggling and when he opened it the dressing inside oozed out from the top like a volcano.... lava from a volcano. He had it all over his hands. I put it in the trash can right away and took that bag back to Shop and Save to get another one. The young girl that greeted me when I walked in told me I could go back and get another one, which I did. All of them were expired February 24th 2024. And on that day it was March 5th or 6th. I can't remember the exact date right now. So I took the remaining two bottles up front to let them know that they had expired and the other cashier said "that's just a Best Buy date it doesn't mean it's expired". I told her I was not going to exchange for another bottle of that kind because all three of the bottles expired February 24th 2024. So I chose another dressing altogether went back to work had my salad and all was good. Be sure to check expiration dates before leaving a store!
