Small store packed with lots of toys and gifts to choose from. Good options for all age ranges and reasonably priced for most items. They have a variety of toys, board games, trading card games, dice, legos, anime figures, nerdy decor, gemstones, keychains, stuffed animals and more. The staff were nice and helpful. There is no parking lot so you have to park on the street or park nearby and walk.

Really cute toys and gifts for all ages. They have pokemon , gemstones, dolls, stuffed animals, plastic figures, board games, Legos. Etc. There is something for all ages. The staff were helpful, and there was a large selection of things to choose from. The price point was also reasonable. Would come back again.

The store is fine. Employees are great and it’s awesome for Pokémon and other things. But the owner is just disgusting. Psycho right winger with some REAL problematic views on minorities. I’d recommend this store but any money you spend here doesn’t go to the employees it goes right into the pockets of some fascist hate group. Do not recommend.
ps. It’s a crime how little this guy pays his employees.

I have been a Marvel fan since 1980 and when Marvel Legends action figures came out after the turn of the century I was instantly hooked! These figures were and are hard to find especially during the Toybiz era but one day I took a chance, stopped in the Shadyside location and much to my amazement SW had Marvel Legends. At the time the figs retailed for $9.99 but SW, understandably, charged $11.95 which was a small price to pay. Hasbro has since taken over the line and a collector receives a lot less for a lot more but such is life in the US. I stopped into the Squirrel hill location after not frequenting the stores in almost a decade and found that SW had, once again to my amazement, had a ton of Legends. Exciting right? Not so. The figures retail at Target between $24 to $28, which is nuts, but here at SWs they were $34 to $35 and about 60% of these figures can be found at Ollie’s for $10, the Eternals line can’t be given away but are the same at $35! Don’t go to Randles for Hasbro products. Play the waiting game even at the big stores because the price always goes down

Great place if you're looking for gifts for practically anyone. Really great kids section! I frequent this place to browse everything and fixate on the gunpla section for way too long. Bought my first ever solo build here and I frequently check back for more.

Cute toys but terribly rude staff at the squirrel Hill location. The men working there are unhelpful and also awful with children. They seem to dislike the idea of kids in the store and are more interested in their own conversations about video games than in helping customers. I have bought some lovely items there in the past but after recent experiences with my own shopping and friends being treated poorly I will never go back there. Save your money and go to Learning Express where the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Gotta love a local shop that's always there for you when you've got yet another birthday party to attend, Christmas presents and stocking stuffers to buy, or simply in need a change of pace for Game Night. Great selection and wide variety. Lots of STEM toys, dress up clothes, books, art supplies, and games. They also have weekly magic the gathering parties. All around hit.

Store definitely does not deserve the brigading that appears to have happened from an isolated event. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. They have a cool selection of toys and games across all sorts of age ranges, from tcg to figurines to board games to crafts. The prices seem appropriate for having to maintain a brick and mortar location.
