My husband was at the American Canyon this morning about ten and had problems getting the discount on the pump. The young lady that came to the rescue was GREAT. Unfortunately, he did not get her name, but sincerely hopes that some how she will receive the praise she deserves for customer service. She actually worked out the discount after fuel was pumped.

We will never go to the Safeway gas station in American Canyon ever again we were filling up our motorhome and the towing car and the rude girls told us we couldn't back in to make it easier to get the tow vehicle filled up with our points. Just moments before we saw another vehicle who had backed up to a pump and got their gas. The girls in the shack actually shut off the pump and called the cops on us and didn't give any reason why they shut it off. The pump was still showing that it was fueling and we didn't want our card charged with someone else coming up next and using the pump. The cops had to tell them that they weren't right and it was unnecessary to call them. They gave the worst customer service we'd ever had. They were very rude with the way they talked to us giving attitude, body language was obvious irritation before they came up to us. By them having cops come out for something they caused was a waste of resources. Those 2 girls should be fired for such behavior and disrespect for elderly people. We've been customers for over 40 years and have had family working in their stores all over the Bay area. We definitely will not go there again for gas and it's questionable for going into the store from the other reviews.

I had to go to Hurcules for a dental emergency today. My partner had told me that you can get cheaper gas in both Hurcules and Richmond because they have oil refineries.

When I drove by, I saw that gas was $4.19. I don't know of a less expensive place to buy gas in the Bay Area.

This is less expensive than Costco--Ibdo believe.

Tip: if you are going to drive by Hercules while on 80--pull into Hercules to gas up. Easy on and off.

"I recently visited the Safeway in American Canyon, California, and I was disappointed with the cashier's behavior. The cashier was more focused on their mobile tablet and seemed disinterested in helping customers. I knock little to get attention he said it’s rude Additionally, when I asked for assistance with a cash transaction, they refused to help. It's important for cashiers to provide attentive and helpful service, so I hope the management addresses this issue. Overall, my experience at Safeway was not satisfactory due to the cashier's behavior." I will remove review after management teach him customer service

Centrally located off Highway 29. Long hoses for easy access at any pump. I like the new pumps with contactless payment options. I love to use my safway rewards for discounts off gas prices.

The worker who made my sandwich was very polite as well as helpful. She followed my instructions as to what I wanted placed on it one hundred percent accurately. The sandwich was delicious! I will definitely be back to get another one.
