One happy celiac! They've expanded their
gluten free aisle and included 2 freezers! Stocked with unique and hard to find gluten free items ! I was literally skipping down the aisles! Store is clean, people are friendly, have no complaints!

Watch out for the chicken and lunch meat. Slimy and horrible odor. Wouldn’t recommend going for a full grocery order. I’ll stick with price chopper. Lower prices and better quality. 3 stars for customer service. Always very nice

Products are a little higher than big name stores but that's to be expected with a smaller family run store. I'll pay a little more if it means I don't need to go all the way to Walmart or Aldi. Meat selection and prices are AMAZING and the quality is great. I got a pork butt for $6.50 and it's lasted 2 meals plus leftovers, hardly any extra fat. I got almost 3 dozen chicken wings for half the price of anywhere else and they're better quality. Staff is friendly and the store is very clean and well stocked.

Riccardos was bad, but Schiel's is 10 times worse. Their cashiers do not have a clue. You place 4 items on the belt, and she scans 2. Then, she proceeds to blame the customer for the mistake. Plus, the "manager" agrees with her cashier and tells you, "Oh, you only put 2 Pepsi 6 packs on the belt." WRONG! They were buy 2 get 2 free. Even my wife told them there were 4, but they see it fitting to continue to argue the point and blame the customer?
I don't go to the store to spend MY money, to be argued with. There are plenty of stores in the area that appreciate your business. This place will NEVER see another dime from me or anyone I know.

It’s a cookie cutter looking store lacking any character. Not much product variety. Bakery items look processed and not made in store. Prices on dry goods are high compared to Gerritys and Price Choper.

Ultimately the store is clean, but if you’re not in the immediate vicinity, it’s not worth the trip.

Under the new ownership, everything has been running on all cylinders. Their bread give Amoroso's a run for their money. Most importantly, they stock their shelves by the communities' desire, and those shelves are now always fully stocked. I got my neighborhood store back and I couldn't be any happier about it.
