My favorite cake ever. I get them for my birthday all the time and sometimes the slices they sell. So much better the actual Giant Eagle bakeries.

We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.

Whole double layer sheet cake with cherry filling was beautiful and the most delicious cake I ever tasted. It was decorated beautifully for vintage romantic theme and did not skimp on any details. It was the hit of the bridal shower. No other bakery could have matched the excellence of cake.

Ordered customer cake for child’s birthday. Sent photo of cake was assured it was no problem. Got cake it was wrong looked a mess and they even misspelled my daughters name. I called and was told they couldn’t help me because there was no decorator there on Sunday. I was offered a regular cake but if I wanted that I would of ordered that. I’m stuck with a bad cake with the wrong name on it. Do not trust this bakery with any cake of significance.

For many years I've had wonderful baked goods from Scozio's Bakery from the inside of a grocery store. Today I purchased apple and cherry Danish patries for lunch with my mother. These Danish were underbaked. But dry. Fillings were nearly tasteless, except sugar. I'm so disappointed. No longer making the drive to get them.

This is the only Giant Eagle Bakery that kept Scozio's Bakery and it is far better than Giant Eagles Bakery. I will. make the 11 mile trip one way just for the Bakery goods. Their icing is Scozio's old recipe and it is by far The Best around. It's not that sickening sweet buttercream. Giant Eagle uses that makes you sick and puts you into a sugar coma. Their cakes and bakery items including their Holiday Nut Rolls are so delish and like your Granny would make at home. Their fresh home made breads are so good also. Did I mention their Big Lady Locks(Cream Horns) are the best. They have a few bakery items that are made by Giant Eagle, so make sure to ask if its Scozio's recipe or G.E's.

We love their cakes. Travel an hour each way for them on special occasions and holidays. Customer service is not their highlight.
Staff is extremely slow. They stand around and look at you, but don't dare to move to help. Hopefully they were just new and learning....
Also, there are two Facebook posts under their community tab that are older, but disturbing.
