The most helpful, welcoming and friendly staff I have ever encountered! Their wipe out matcha is delicious and the vibe of the shop is so cute. They have a lot of great, unique epoxy rental surfboards like hulls which was a pleasant surprise. They have everything you need from board racks to wax to clothing. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we had (: Definitely my favorite surf shop in the area.

This shop is amazing! Great products and welcoming atmosphere. The service is top-notch with friendly baristas, sales associates, and surf instructors. They are so knowledgeable about surfing and the surrounding Malibu area including the variety of surf spots and sun bathing beaches. The coffee is spectacular- perfect espresso and matcha.

It is so nice to be greeted with such a pleasant staff. They make you feel like a long-time friend! I will be back and bringing others with me! Thank you, Sea N Soul, for making me feel so at home!

Sea N' Soul is an amazing spot on the north end of Malibu where it's quieter and super friendly! The shop is pet friendly, has the best music playing, and the coffee options are to die for! Not to mention, the staff are so welcoming. And they offer surfboard/boogie board rentals, as well as lessons! There’s tons of beautiful, high quality boards for sale all over the shop. Everyone needs to make a stop here at least once in their life!

Sea N Soul surf is much more than your run of the mill surf shop. With fresh pressed juices,coffee, and a lovely atmosphere it is the perfect place to come enjoy a coffee and browse some quality products. It has an amazing selection of hand crafted surfboards all uniquely shaped by Southern California shapers. Not to mention the stores amazing clothing, the store is focused on promoting sustainable shopping by stocking brands that sustainably produced. Including a vintage section with Levi’s and vintage surf style . They sell boogie boards,towels, sunblock, and rent surfboards. Come see John and Erica to get everything you need for a perfect malibu beach day.

I never leave reviews but I had to when it comes to this coffee shop, back in May my wife and I were headed to Escondido Falls and really needed to use the bathroom, we found the adjacent liquor store, purchased some items and asked about a restroom, clerk gives me a stern "no" so as we walk back to the car the man who was behind us in line starts calling to us asking if we'd like to use a restroom we can use his, he runs this little upscale surf boutique-like store with a coffee shop, real awesome experience and I told him I run a store also and he just gained customer by just being nice, overall awesome experience, and the coffee was some of the best I've ever had, thanks John! We will have to stop every time we are in the area now

I know there are many good reviews about this store, but here is my story: I purchased a pair of RL sweatpants from this store back in October 2024. Initially, it said my order would take 7-10 days to arrive. I waited, but it never came.
I had to search online for their contact number and call them. The first time I spoke to someone, he was dismissive, saying, “OK, OK, what else?” and eventually accused me of being a scammer. I tried to explain that I had made a purchase and even offered to share my order number, but he refused to listen.
The next time I called, I managed to speak to John, the owner. He told me that sending my item posed a "high risk" for him and questioned why I didn’t purchase directly from the RL website. He then suggested I Zelle him the amount again before he would proceed with shipping the item—very unprofessional, to say the least.
At the end of that call, we agreed he would cancel my purchase and issue a refund. However, that didn’t happen. The following week, I called again, and he said he had been busy and promised to process the refund right after our call. But, once again, he didn’t do it.
I had to keep calling repeatedly, but the store stopped answering my calls and eventually, I believe, blocked my number.
So, while this store accuses others of being "high risk," they themselves are highly untrustworthy and borderline scammers. Be cautious if you decide to buy anything from them.

Sea N Soul Surf and Coffee is a fantastic stop in Malibu by Zuma Beach. We stopped in for surf board rentals and were impressed with the selection of boards available for rent. They also had a huge selection of beautiful hand shaped boards for sale. We looked at fun boards, fish shaped and ended up taking out long boards. We also had our choice of wetsuits to rent. The rental boards and suits were all in great condition and made for a wonderful day of surfing. After the surf trip we tried Sea N Soul's coffee. It was hard to choose one option. Their selection included coffee and matcha creations I have never seen as well as drip coffee and lattes. Sea N Soul is definitely a place you could spend hours at. Great vibes, chill place and wonderful people
