I ordered a pair of SeaVees Ballard boots online. When I received the boots, I noticed a black mark on the leather and stitching at the top of the instep. I tried wiping it off with a damp paper towel, but it wouldn’t come off, so I took a picture of it and reached out to SeaVees customer service.

First of all, It took 2 days for me to receive a response. When I finally received a response, the person who contacted me asked if I was able to wipe the mark away (I told them. I couldn't). The next thing they said was unbelievable: they suggested that the mark may have been caused by the TISSUE PAPER inside of the shoe box! They then suggested either offering me a discount or replacing the shoe. No explanation as to how I could take advantage of these options was offered.

Now I've probably purchased hundreds of pairs of various kinds of shoes over the years, and I've NEVER had tissue paper damage any of them; the tissue paper is designed to PROTECT the shoe.

I asked the person how long it would take to receive a replacement pair of shoes, as I really like them, but I don't want to wear them if they're damaged. I'm still awaiting a response.

This was my first time purchasing a pair of SeaVees. Prior to purchasing them, I I looked at a number of similar shoes and decided on SeaVees, not only because I liked the styling, but because I'd read how comfortable they were and what a great company SeaVees was. Unfortunately, so far, I've been disappointed. I'm looking at other shoes, and I'm frankly contemplating just returning the shoe at this point.

Place has always been a great place to stroll in with a mission - to get a pair of their shoes and a T-shirt. I do this ritual every 2 years or so. Service always been top notch - both knowledgeable on the product and extremely friendly, and certainly no different in visit of mid-October.

Went into the store when it first opened. Was told that I needed an appointment to look at the shoes!
Needless to say, I did a 180 degrees and high tailed it outta there!
Terrible customer service.
Happy to get out of that store and have never been back.

almost all my shoes are seavees. They're so comfy, quality and great to wear for all occassions. Been coming here more than 2 years now, and I still love going in to try shoes I've seen online to see if they fit right. Atmosphere is very chill. I love it. Staff is always very friendly and very helpful. Will always come back👍

Best casual/beach shoes ever. Awesome look/style. Have ordered many times. Alice in customer service was responsive and sooooo nice/awesome - she totally rocks. Helped me work through some shipping issues over the holidays - order with confidence! This company is awesome.

The place is nice and organized. The have a great selection of shoes and cloths. i was there to buy shoes. The girl at the front helped pick out the shoes, who was warm and courteous. Fast and easy transaction!
