We purchased cabinet doors and panels for our kitchen remodel in 2018. Only two years later, two of our doors had begun to delaminate, resulting in ugly bubbles on the front of the shaker style door. We contacted Semihandmade and after supplying photos they informed us that the delaminating must be due to excess heat - on a cabinet that was next to our refrigerator and properly ventilated.

Since that time, EVERY ONE of the cabinet doors and panels in our entire kitchen has delaminated. Over $5000 wasted.

So very disappointed in the quality of these cabinet doors and the poor customer service.

Had a not so great experience in store. Made an appointment and the person who met us seemed to be distracted and not familiar with my project details even though I had filled out a form in advance and made an appointment. I very quickly realized she couldn’t help me anyway because they primarily deal with IKEA cabinets but that was not made clear on the website. The salesperson said she gets that all the time so seems like they aren’t marketing their products clearly. I wish someone had read my form and contacted me in advance to explain so I didn’t drive all the way out there for no reason.

I am adding more to the review due to the owner's response. I have reached out three times to them in the past month, and they just decided to issue a refund two days ago after I left them a Google review and filed a chargeback. Still to this date there is not refund from Semihandmade, but the bank will take care of them. Do not trust them, as they cannot stop themselves from lying.

This company is a total joke! I’m unsure how they stay in business, probably because of influencers. I ordered samples of cabinets and knobs. They never sent the tracking of either, and they shipped doors without knobs. I emailed them to ship the knobs, and they said after almost a month that they would instead refund, which they never did. Two people from their customer service communicated with me Vienna and Leah and they were not efficient. I had to file a chargeback with the bank to get a refund. I am so glad that I will not be ordering anything from these fraudsters due to their level of handling samples and communication. Please stay away from them!

A seamless experience from start to finish! The folks at Semihandmade were professional, prompt and helpful with every question. All of the products arrived as ordered and within the quoted time frame (though note that, since cabinet fronts are heavy business, they arrive on a pallet, so make sure you've got someone there to help you unload everything, especially if you live in a city where the delivery truck may not be able to park/stay)

Found THE Caesarstone quartz countertop on Pinterest, ordered samples from Semihandmade and, after viewing many samples and living with them taped to the wall, we were ready to purchase. We began getting prices locally and sticker shock ensued.

That is when we reached out to Semihandmade, simply for a price comparison. I was connected with the immensely knowledgeable and talented Briauna Rapone for a video consultation. Briauna's input was invaluable, she provided us with additional options we had not considered and helped us to get to the final layout. Within 24 hours we received a quote which bested all of our local quotes, substantially, even AFTER the price adjustment for height, outlet placement, etc. We were sent an amazing team that templated and installed our countertops and backsplash and we could not be more pleased. Briauna managed the project seamlessly from start to finish. Thank you!

Based on this experience we would not hesitate to recommend Briauna, Caesarstone and Semihandmade. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished result.

We purchased quite a lot of SHM Sarah Sherman product for our kitchen and ADU remodel. We are now experiencing delaminating cabinets. These are in dry locations and were professionally installed. While SMH has offered to replace the defective product they have refused to repair it. Replacement will cost us hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. SMH blames our installer for their product failures, but has not been able produce any documentation supporting their claim that it wasn’t properly installed. Their product is low quality and so is their customer service.

Because SMH tries to shift blame for their low quality product, I am obliged to edit my response. Their claim that cut edges should be dressed with silicon sealant is pretty weak. They offer instruction on how to cut their products, and they provide a detailed list of tools and materials needed. This list includes tape measure and even a pencil. No mention of sealant. So, you be the judge, potential consumer. Or just consume a better product!

Much like the other one star reviews, I had a similar experience with the thermofilm finish. Every cabinet door is now dis-bonding from the MDF. When this started (only two cabinets), customer service reached out and reimbursed the damage. But since then, pretty much every surface has become unglued. This product simply does not hold up.
