There was an error/oversite, and I was accidentally overcharged two times for a product, and the product got into the bag. I heard the sales rep was new.

The next day I spoke with Maria, a responsive manager, who made things right immediately. Thanks, Sephora. I understand a mistake can happen, and I am grateful you did the right thing for me.

I wish I could give zero stars. I like going to kohls every once in a while. However the Sephora in kohls alameda is the 10th circle of hell. Loud music. People’s left over Starbucks cups and trash all in the shelves where products are. The products are all pumped out of the containers and packaging. Nothing was restocked. The testers looked like you could get ringworm from them. And to top it all off there was not one employee available to help me. Not one. So when I finally made my way up to the register I bought a lip plumping gloss and a travel sized ultra repair cream, I asked if the store associate could help me find a product and I might as well been speaking a different language. She had no clue what I was talking about, but worse was that she acted like it was such a chore to help me! And I understand everyone has a bad day but can’t you call someone over to get them to help me? I just needed a brightening serum from caudalie. Couldn’t find it, or an alternative. I really would have loved some “beauty advising” in that moment.
Sephora in kohls. You need to hire people who are willing to be hospitable and people who TRY to help. How are you going to hire people that act like mean girls. Sephora used to be such a luxury experience and now it’s giving 8th-9th grade mean girl behavior, with added FILTH. clean up the store and your act.

I’ve had an amazing experience at this place! Unfortunately 😽, I don’t remember the lady that has helped me with my order, but she was soooo sweet and beautiful! She has this long wavy hair and an incredible smile 😊! For instance, I didn’t know that I can take samples home ! I was looking for a perfect 👍 foundation color, and had too many different layers of products on my skin! So I was offered to take a few more samples home 🏡. Definitely going back to this place again 💗🌸💗

The employees were very rude and dismissive, they made me feel like a burden for asking for help. They ignored all of the customers in the store and openly laughed and whispered about me when I was trying to shop. I don’t usually write reviews but this was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had .

The employees there are the worst!!!!!!!! Been in there a few times and will never go back again. Everytime I go in there, they look at you up and down. They see people at the cashier but make them wait because they're having a conversation with each other. Besides the employees being the worst. They never have anything in stock.

Real pain in the arse… they have very little stock and you can only make returns at this store, not at ANY other Sephora. Super annoying.

So glad Alameda has a Sephora few blocks away from my house. The store is well stocked up and staff very friendly.
