We recently moved our family to Grove City from Allegheny County. I was not pleased with options for a barber in GC so I've been on the hunt for about 9 months. I recently tried Shaver's in Mercer and my search has ended. Kaitlyn is the owner and the barber. She's kind to us and patient with my boys. She gives a great cut at a very reasonable price. Perhaps most importantly, she's a great conversationalist!

She is by appointment only. I actually prefer this because I know that I'll be in and out quickly.

Kaitlyn's grandmother is occasionally in to tidy up and answer the phone. Otherwise, Kaitlyn may not answer if she's busy with a cut. Don't worry, leave a message that you need an appointment, and she'll call you back.

IDK if she's the owner or just a impatient employee but I'll refer to her as lazy. I set up a appt for my son to get his hair cut. We had to walk the second he got off the bus and arrived 10mins late which I told the lady we would be there as close to the time as possible because he was in school! We get there just for lazy to tell us she won't be taking him because she has been sitting there with no one for 45mins and we were a few mins late. She had someone else coming in. The place was dead and the cut would of took no more then 10mins If that.. absolutely worst customer service. I was warned by multiple people they weren't worth our time, I should of listened and my 5year old wouldn't of had to deal with such cold people but you live and you learn.

I went there today for the first time. I couldn’t find any good barbers 💈. I can tell you now this is the only place I will ever go to again. Beyond Amazing job. Great haircut and beard trim and it’s hard to find good barbers these days! I will for now on always go there!! Thanks again for the awesome haircut and beard trim. If I could I’d give a thousand stars. Definitely the best place to go to if you want a real haircut!!

Went here a couple times and always had a good experience. Went in today and wasn't exactly sure what direction I wanted to go with my hair and was hoping she could help me. Right off the bat she seemed kind of annoyed that I didn't know exactly what I wanted done. After she cut my hair, she asked how I liked it and I told her I changed my mind and just wanted a buzz cut. She told me that she could have done that in 5 minutes and she had a meeting she had to go to and basically that I wasted her time. Just super unprofessional to be honest. Unfortunately I won't be back.

Cuts are ok, Hours are lousy. Not very professional or obliging. Always seem like your putting them out cause they have other things to do. I made an appt and had a pipe freeze that morning so I missed the appt but i did call an apologize. Called back to make another appt and was basically pushed off so I didnt make her late for something after work. Ive sent another person there and they quit going here as well.
