Great buns and desserts. Terrible customer service. They didn’t ring up a few of my items, then after I paid I noticed they didn’t bag those things. They then said I couldn’t get those things on their own because they didn’t add up to the $10 credit card minimum, despite it being their mistake. Appalling

Never come to this store again. I don’t know why the staff exchange one cupcake for me. And the changed one is spoiled. Not good staff old women,

Tried the small yam (sweet potato) pastry and green chili pastry. The yam pastry was good, it had a little marshmallow-like thing in the middle. The green chili pastry was mild and interesting but not amazing. 3.5/5.

Great Bakery in Milpitas Square, that offers a good selection of sandwiches and hot / cold drinks including the traditional Jasmine tea.

I ordered Onion bread, garlic bread and also the Ham & Cheese sandwich and they were all above average (given the low prices). There is a $10 min when purchasing with a credit card.

Pretty good bakery in Milpitas, in the vicinity of many other restaurants and milk tea spots. I got a garlic bread to go which was just the right texture (no one likes eating a hard bread!), flavor, and price too. They had a great variety of baked goods from flan and cakes, to buns and entire loaves of bread. They also offer coffee and milk tea, although I didn't try it. Note that anything below $10 and you'll have to pay in cash. I'll certainly be supporting this local business in the future.

Childhood memory!

Many of us grew up eating Sheng Kee. There is a lot more variety than what was on the shelf 20-25 years ago, but the quality is kept up as always.

Highly recommend the cheese bread, red bean bun, matcha bun, and all kinds of mooncakes (red bean filling is my fav).

Five pastries plus a small bag of cookies cost $20.

Please consider opening up a shop or two in SoCal. LA and OC need some love from Sheng Kee!

Sheng Kee is one of my favorite bakeries. Their cakes are delicious especially the mango mouse one. Their assorted bread and buns are quite good as well.
I like their roll cake the best. They have the best price for roll cakes compare to any other bakery. Their roll cakes are very moist and soft, and almost like a sponge cake. My kids love them.
The cream puff is ok only. I prefer a custard filling but their cream cpuff is more of a cream filling. Although it's good, it's not my fav.

Customers cant use the bathroom. No drinking water. Food is oily, cold, and some r just dry.
Look at all the moisture on glass with the cakes.
