Niqui is the best! I have been getting my hair cut by Niqui for the past two years and wouldn't recommend anyone else in the area. She is always so pleasant and fun to talk with and she is great about remembering you as a person. She is consistent and wonderful at her job! I found her prices to be very affordable and the salon to be a comfortable space. I am so sad to be PCSing away and will miss Shockwaves! Whether you are military or a long time local Niqui is the go to person! Thank you so much for everything Niqui!

Jackie is the most reasonably priced barber/stylist in the NP area that provides excellent service and quality cuts! Tried a couple different barbershops who didn't quite meet the mark, especially when it came to fades, but Jackie nailed it! Will only be going to Jackie while I'm here!

The woman was very nice throughout the haircut, but did not meet my expectations on the actual service. When booking online it states that a wash, haircut, and style starts at $40. My hair was not washed. My hair was cut dry, which some people prefer so that was fine. I had to come back in to ask for the styling to be done, and once I straightened my hair a few days later I noticed that my haircut was horribly uneven. The hair closest to my face was over an inch longer than the rest of my hair. I messaged her to resolve the situation, and was ignored. I’m not the type to leave a bad review, but if the owner isn’t willing to speak to me about the issue then this is my only other option.

Always get my haircut here.
Clean, cheery place with optimistic staff.
Last thing you want to do is sit in a chair and listen to someone complain or mope for 15 minutes and you won't ever have to here.

Definitely recommend.
