This store has a lot of halal options, including different kinds of steaks, which are not easy to find elsewhere. They also have a halal Chinese takeout restaurant inside, called WokWorks. Unfortunately, the store is frequented by rude customers who yell and make a scene, which is hard to be around. The self-checkout is somewhat glitchy too, we needed a staff member to enter their code 3-4 times during our checkout process.

The shop rite, was well stocked and the store was very clean. My
only issues is that you must bring your own bags and the cashier might help you with packing. That's a sore issue and time consuming if you have a lot of groceries.

The people who live in this community need to band together and sign a petition to have this store remodeled and have the management changed. This store has gotten horrible over the years and as someone who is from this community its very sad. Everytime i go in this store the carts are dirty, the floors are dirty, the shelves and refrigerators are dirty and it stinks in there literally everytime i go in there. In addition to it always being dirty they sell old food and meats with expired dates on them and never take it off the shelves. Something needs to be done to change this store ASAP!

I am giving the review only because driver Jwoanteera from Instacart dropped off and reported back to re-assure me bakery did a terrible job writing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROMAN” she wasn’t lying…was exactly as I’m looking at it….on my 2 year old son ice cream cake. They gave the lady a hard time and involved mgmt it shouldn’t have been all that serious! Here’s a lasting impression 🙁

Since the pandemic and price gouging, it’s been one horrible shopping experience after the other. Last two times I went I was followed around the store by weird men who were not shopping. I don’t know what they were looking to do but it didn’t feel right or safe. I don’t want to fatally harm anybody in any store just to shop. It’s a shame because I believe some of the staff may be apart of whatever is going on with the dirty men following women. It was early in the morning both times. Women be careful and carry. If you’re a targeted individual then you have to deal with men trying to follow you for trafficking. Also had low down women making scenes during pandemic (didn’t realize they were being paid to harrass/get me to act up) money hungry poorly raised old women. Both cars pulled up next to me the day the weird homeless man was following around the store. My last time shopping at this store.

We did our shopping for Grace Safe Place Parenting and Nutrition Class. We all had to buy a dinner for a family of 4 for $10. It was so much fun shopping in the Shop Rite and seeing what everyone decided to do with their money. Our cashier was so patient with us, because it took a long time to check us all out... I so wish I could remember her name it was on Wednesday January 9th 2018 the check out line was #5 and it was around 7:30ish ... I just want her manger know she was wonderful and we appreciated this

I live out of town now. But I’m in town visiting. I will say I am pleasantly impressed by the quality of customer service here. This grocery store has grown with the times. All ages working with positive attitudes. Kudos to the staff. I would put names but they didn’t have tags sorry
