We were on our way home after spending the day at Calaveras Big Tree State Park. My wife is vegan and had been craving a sandwich when she mentioned she noticed Sierra Hills Natural Foods as we drove by it. I said maybe they have a sandwich counter so I made a U-turn. The store is small but packed with lots for good things. They didn't have a sandwich counter but we left with some items my wife had been keeping an eye out for and hadn't been able to find in Sacramento. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures at the store so I included one of Big Tree State Park.

They are a wonderful little market with a huge selection of oils, supplements, and natural body and skin care. There was also a good selection of high quality gluten free items. I'll be here regularly now that I live here full time.
