My friends and I had a great experience here! The prices were very reasonable, and the staff were kind and helpful. They clearly explained how to put on ski boots to my friends, making the process super easy. On top of that, one of the staff noticed me carrying my skis and kindly adjusted my bindings for free. Convenient location in town, relaxed and helpful staff, and great prices, much cheaper than renting at Mammoth Ski Resort, if you don't mind lugging your gear a little further. If you forgot something like goggles, gloves, etc, they have a small selection as well. Remember to go to the website and get the 20% off coupon before you visit the store!

Very poor experience. Rude communication, weak service, low-quality items.

Also, additionally, I rented from them, and they gave me a couple of dollars off for the next rental. I come back the next day, and the new staff says there’s no discount. I show them my previous receipt – still no luck.

I've rented skis and snowboard from many shops and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. They have one of the best daily rates in town. Their equipment are in great shape - performance package skis were sharp and easy to ski on. They were also incredibly customer friendly, allowing us to switch between skis and snowboard 2 days into our reservation. They also did an impeccable job tuning up my skis at an unbeatable price! 10/10 would recommend to others looking for a skip shop.

Making a reservation of equipment online is really helpful. They even let us pick up our equipment earlier than our reservation time so we could avoid the incoming snow storm. Happy, helpful, knowledgeable guys. Great experience.
