Excellent service! Took me in within 5 minutes to fix a broken binding clasp, and gave me the part and installed it all for free within minutes. Very nice guy, i wish more businesses were like this! Thanks again !!

I love this place! It's my go-to for my grandchildren's winter wear, high quality at great prices. The staff is super knowledgeable, and willing to help you with any questions or concerns. Rentals, either for the season or for the day, are are affordable and fitted to your personal abilities. The condition of the rental equipment is outstanding !! This family-owned business is a true gem, and we are lucky to have it at Montage Mountain❤️❄️

Noonish, earlier today. Walked into the rental side of the shop...an older gentleman looked at me and asked if I worked there, I said, "No...is no one around?" He said, "I guess not," and he walked to the other side of the shop where you can buy the ski goods. I stood there for a minute contemplating and eventually 3 men walked into the shop single file.

All three looked like customers but I thought I'd give it a shot and asked the first, "Do you work here?"

"I'm WITH a customer!" he sneered. I stood with my mouth kind of open. He then said, "What do you WANT?!" I paused a moment, and said, "To rent equipment..."

"Scan the QR code!" Slowly I went over to the QR code area and looked over at him again and he was kind of glaring at me, maybe wondering if I write Google reviews after he had his mean little outburst...maybe he could see the wheels turning...

I scanned the QR as ordered, but was really thinking about how unpleasant it would be to interact with this fellow further. I was just going to rent a jacket and ski pants and the idea of being too cold was much more pleasant than this situation....so I abandoned the process and left the shop.

Can't say if this employee is generally angry against the ladies (possibly...), doesn't like very pale skinned people (maybe?), or simply enjoys snapping at random customers who weren't looking for trouble at all (who the heck knows).

But...it was a beautiful day and it turned out yoga pants and a light sweater were more than enough for ski lessons at Montage....probably not true most of the time but sometimes good luck follows bad.

So concludes my first one star review. Sorry to the Shack, it looks like you have a ton of good reviews, some of which I read before deciding to drop by, so this brief experience came as quite the surprise.

Awesome group of people to buy from. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend anyone who needs anything ski or snowboarding related come check this place out before you go anywhere else.

Called and closed for training. No worries and no big deal as I told them on the phone but sad when you’re ready to buy and support local after a day at the mountain.
6:23. Not open on a Wednesday. Sign says open till 7. I saw other people comment that this is common so be prepared if coming to Montage. No other shops nearby.

Ski shack is where you go on your way to montage Mountain. It’s a better place to get your local rentals as well as your one wheel scoop accessories. Very friendly staff also go there early if you’re looking for a great deals they sell out quick
