Great place to have coffee. Coffee taste smooth and flavourful. You can always find a seat and it is usually decorated for the holidays.

Love coming here for coffee, it's always really good. The Inside is comfortable and perfect. Everyone is really nice and cool. My only complaint is that the burritos are never heated appropriately. Today we got 2. One was so overheated it had started to harden, And one was so underheated some of the eggs were still icy. Love this place, but the burritos are hit or miss. Please fix it

Sleepy Dog is the long standing local coffee shop for Eagle River! They were the first coffee shop here in Eagle River 30 years ago!
The atmosphere is great for working or relaxing & the temperature is great as well. The staff was very nice and helpful!
The coffee was good, I’d say 4/5 but sometimes it’s great to find a place to escape to and get work done and this is a place for exactly that.

Great vibe and amazing service. Our group was pretty large but the young lady behind the counter was on it! We had different orders and questions about the tasty treats - she was patient and a pro. If you need coffee or an iced beverage and you're near the shop - stop in!

Open for 29 years this coffee spot won’t disappoint. There is always laughter, regardless of if you choose the drive-thru or stop in to relax. Sheryl, who’s been working here since they opened and Bella both welcomed me (and everyone else who walked in) with conversion and big smiles. They are clearly happy to help their customers. The coffee is always great too! They have soups, pastries and other treats to stave off hunger and there is ample seating so you will find a place to hunker down for awhile if that is what your looking for. Eagle River is very lucky to have so many top notch coffee shops...Sleepy Dog is definitely among the best.

Here's the deal, if you are going to post a time of 8pm for closing.... -Keep serving until 8pm. I arrived at 7:55 to order a plain latte and hot chocolate only to find the staff had already mopped floors, stowed chairs, cleaned out the espresso machine, and apparently had closed out the register as they complained when I attempted to pay with cash after already being denied the latte due to staff shutting down early. I paid with card, carried out one of the two drinks I had stopped to purchase, and will likely not pass on any recommendations to friends and family of this establishment. A note to the owner/s: If staff is in such a hurry to leave at the end of their shift post a 7:30pm closing time and give them 30 minutes to clean up uninterrupted. It was obvious to myself and the two people that attempted orders after me in the drive-through were not welcomed guests.
